After Leonardas was gone, Sophia returned to her previous form. When you returned the Guardian's Pledge to Jacque, he told you to keep it as a gift. The guardian is one whose soul and power are offered up through the Pledge Ritual for various reasons and the owner of that Guardian's Pledge is said to be able to transform into the guardian at any time and use his power.
