Welcome to the Throne and Liberty Classes and Weapon Types overview page. Please select a class to get to the page with all the skills and available weapons.
Unlike many other MMO games, Throne and Liberty does not feature predefined classes that are selected during character creation. Instead, your "class" is decided by which weapon type you have equipped, and can be changed at will by simply changing what you have equipped.
You can equip two weapons on your character in Throne and Liberty, and swap between them at will. Swapping weapons won't be an issue at all since it will be automatic. You have a skill bar from 1 to 12 and you can just press any skill on that bar and it will activate. It will also automatically swap to your other weapon if a skill is used and then immediately swap back to your main hand weapon after the skill has finished casting.

The lack of predetermined classes in Throne and Liberty aims to offer greater freedom to players, as they will be able to more easily adapt their character to meet the requirements of different roles or situations, and there won't be a need to create and level up multiple characters if you want to have one of each class.
Right now there are a total of seven different weapon types available in Throne and Liberty: Sword and Shield, Greatsword, Daggers, Longbow, Crossbow, Wand and Tome, and Staff.
Sword and Shield Weapon Type Class
The Sword and Shield weapon type maintains a high defense and provides survivability. You protect your allies by using the weapon as a crowd controller, which allows you to lead the fight from the front of the battlefield. You can aggro hard hitting mobs, taking the pressure off your damage dealers and healers in Throne and Liberty.
Greatsword Weapon Type Class
The Greatsword weapon type is a well-balanced weapon that combines devastating combo attacks with high health. With its earth-shattering AoE attacks, it instantly penetrates the enemy's defenses and shakes the battlefield.
Longbow Weapon Type Class
The Longbow weapon type specializes in long-range sniping, binding enemies from behind, and dealing maximum damage in Throne and Liberty. It can also be used to accelerate the health recovery of party members, making it a huge asset to your allies.
Crossbow Weapon Type Class
The Crossbow weapon type is a weapon that allows you to fight in style with fast movement and unrelenting attack speed. You can leave marks and unleash a merciless barrage on enfeebled enemies, taking them down in an instant.
Staff Weapon Type Class
The Staff weapon type allows you to freely control the elements in Throne and Liberty. You can deal devastating damage with explosive magic attacks, and lead the battle in your favor with AoE magic when facing multiple enemies.
Daggers Weapon Type Class
The Daggers weapon type specializes in wounding enemies using poisonous CC attacks and stealth. You can hide behind enemies with agile movements to inflict continuous Poison Damage and land a critical blow.
Wand and Tome Weapon Type Class
The Wand and Tome weapon type supports friendly players with healing magic and buff skills. A curse skill that not only helps your party survive but also weakens enemies can maximize friendly players' damage. Especially effective in boss raids or team fights in Throne and Liberty.
