Shadowmancers summoned Risieth to gain power, only to be destroyed by him. Havres, who was summoned over a hundred years earlier, was mortally wounded in a battle with the other demon over the Star Fragments on earth. These two demons each hid in a human body and devised a plan to defeat each other.
