May you grant us wisdom and courage! Page 2/5 Day Three Where did the endless horde of skeletons come from? Who created them? We were able to defeat them by driving our swords directly into their skulls. It was important to stay focused, because they would counter any attack if we made a single mistake. Marco lost his left arm while fighting the giant skeleton that looked like their leader. We sent him aboveground. After that, we found a flight of stairs that led downward, near a pile of adventurers' corpses. Page 3/5 Day Five We were faced with many more Skeleton Soldiers. We've become accustomed to the dangers of this place. Everyone fought well and made it without any major injuries. Though we were all exhausted, we gained a bit of confidence. We rested for a while and ate some food. The meal didn't go down very well because of the stench. Poor Marco... I hope he made it back to the village safely. Page 4/5 Day Seven We lost three soldiers today. In the third floor of the depths, we met the Ancient King Cornelius. While following a wizard named Umberto, who was skilled in ancient languages, we saw Cornelius's Wraith firsthand. In the blink of an eye, it had severed our friend's head. We fought fiercely but failed to defeat the wraith. Damn! How are we supposed to win against someone with immortal armor? Page 5/5 I'm not sure how long it's been anymore. All I know is that I'm still alive. Somehow. What in the world are we fighting? A thousand illusions started pushing down on my chest. A strange figure that called for humans, a terrifying shadow that motioned for us to follow. And someone called my name from the altar of darkness at the End of the Abyss.
