Feb. 15th The memorial ceremony for Hale Verpheus will be held tomorrow at Turayne Village. Me and my brother came to town three days before the ceremony to pay our respects to the memory of the great wizard. Turayne Village must be the center of the wizarding world. You can buy all kinds of magical stuff everywhere you look! It's called a magical trade hub for a reason, I guess. I'm going to a magical bookstore with my brother tonight, but I feel guilty. I'm too excited for a man attending a memorial tomorrow. But on the other hand, I'm already here. I can't miss this chance!

Feb. 18th I'm still confused. I don't know what happened. It feels like I'm dreaming. I remember attending the memorial, but when I woke up, I was under a collapsed building. I vaguely remember an orc running toward me... and my brother casting a spell to push me aside. The wizards who saved me told me that Shadowmancers attacked the village.

Feb. 20th I feel like I'm going crazy. I can't do anything. I've been calling out my brother's name for days, but no one answers me. He saved my life at the last moment, and yet... I'm devastated that I did nothing for him in return. No, there must be something I can do. I have to find my brother. I'll go back to whatever's left of Turayne Village and search for him.

Feb. 27th The moment I was able to move, I went to Turayne Village to find my brother. Some wizards tried to stop me, but I couldn't just give up on him. Turayne Village was still in horrible condition. I began to look for my brother among the ruins. But all I found was the stench of death. Brother, I hope you're still alive.

Feb. 28th I finally found my brother. Or... what used to be my brother. He was wandering around the ruins, mumbling in something that was obviously not a human language. I just couldn't get closer to him... so I left him there. I... I don't think that was my brother. No... He must have... He must have hidden me in the rubble and then left the village alone!
