Page 1/3 When the forest stopped singing, I got rid of every streetlight around the great tree. All we have left now is the feeling of betrayal against Humans. Page 2/3 This is the recording of the tragedy that happened to us. Long ago, Humans learned simple magic from us, and fought alongside with us against Orcs. After the war, Humans wanted to know more about magic. They even built streetlights around The Great Sage Tree to plead with us, which was very Human like action. Elves didn't need streetlights. They were silly gifts, but we appreciated their effort nevertheless, and decided to teach them advanced magic spells such as summoning and healing. Humans learned surprisingly fast. They soon became able to control the four elements and create schematics out of them. We grew nervous. Page 3/3 Because their magic was the result of their uncontrollable greed and deception. But it was too late, and Humans were already out of control. All we could do was to watch them closely so that they wouldn't astray from the light. The divide between Elves and Humans got worse. In the end, Humans declared a war on us. We should known their true nature when they brought us their silly gifts. I would never make the same mistake again - I swore while removing every streetlight around The Great Sage Tree.
