Page 1/1 Yesterday, Nancy came over while I was helping Mom at the store, so we played together. We picked the five coolest guys in the town, and Timmy of Snarlon Workshop came last place. Timmy comes to our bakery every single day. I don't know if he's trying to imitate the blacksmiths, but he always chooses big, rock-hard bread. Nancy thinks he's quite reliable, but I think he's too brusque. Timmy carried Nancy's bag once. Maybe that's why she likes him? Fourth place was Louis from the llama range. He's tall and skinny. Every few days, he carries home stacks of bread that the people at the range ordered. Nancy thinks he should at least come in third, but because he learned lame jokes from his sister Annie, he ended up coming in fourth. If he wants to get a girlfriend, he should stop hanging out with his sister. Third place was Hanail from Specialty Street. His family runs an apricot store, so he always smells like them. On top of that, he's really kind. When I delivered bread to him, he gave me a small jar of jam. I think he should come in second, but Nancy thought otherwise. I'm sure she's just jealous because I got the jam and she didn't. Second place was Milan, the Breezeline Manager. He rarely stops by the bakery, and he buys cookies and butter more than pastries. He's from Laslan, but he came to Herba Village to become a Breezeline Manager. He's about the same age as us, but he seems much more mature and brave. First place was obviously Melvin. He's training to become a wizard. He doesn't live here, but comes by the wizards' dormitory from time to time. He always orders sweet pastries from our bakery. Whenever I deliver them to him, he's always talking about difficult stuff with adults. He said his master is often not here, so he's filling in for him. But when he sees me coming to deliver the pastries, he always greets me, even in the middle of a conversation. He's not just smart, he seems kind too. And he smells like a golden bell. Could it be magic? I'm not sure, but he's the most special guy in our village.
