Welcome to our guide on Amitoi Expeditions in Throne & Liberty.

This guide will explain Amitoi Expeditions, why they are worth doing, and how to start one.

What Are Amitoi Expeditions?

Amitoi Expeditions allow you to send one or more of your Amitoi on an expedition to a location on the world map.

While your Amitoi is on an expedition, they will be unavailable for summoning. When they finish their expedition, they'll bring back some items, such as crafting materials. The items depend on the location.

You can also choose how long the Amitoi should depart for, affecting how many items you receive.

Amitoi Expeditions are an extra way to get some resources. This feature is hardly a game changer, but it is nevertheless useful and adds an extra use to your Amitoi.

How to Unlock Amitoi Expeditions

Find the Amitoi called Adventurer Pro Percy. He is next to the statue in the centre of Kastleton.

Speak to him, and he will tell you about Amitoi Expeditions. Once you've finished this quick conversation, click your Amitoi's icon on your hotbar to travel to the Amitoi House. Getting this far unlocks the Vagabond Percy Amitoi.

Once in the Amitoi House, check the map on the table to start planning your first Amitoi Expedition. Like many other systems in Throne & Liberty, this needs to be gradually levelled up. Initially, you will only have one basic expedition to Golden Rye Pastures available, but as you level up your Amitoi Expeditions, more will become available.

How to Start an Amitoi Expedition

In the Amitoi House, interact with the map. Choose the location to which you want to send your Amitoi(s). If this is your first time, then the only option will be to send one Amitoi to the Golden Rye Pastures.

If you have an Amitoi that is a good match for the terrain at the Expedition location, their icon will show an upward green arrow. Choosing an Amitoi that is well-suited for the expedition will yield slightly improved rewards, but don't worry if you don't have one.

Choose the Amitoi you want to send, then decide how long you want the Expedition to be. Choosing a longer time means the Amitoi will be gone for longer, but you'll get more rewards when they return.

When you've decided on the above details, click Begin Expedition. A timer will then begin ticking - when the timer runs out, the Amitoi will return with some rewards. You can end the expedition early, but this will forfeit the rewards and any progress you would've made towards levelling up your Amitoi Expeditions.

While your Amitoi Expedition is in progress, you are free to do other things or log out of the game entirely.
