How to Break Down Items in Throne & Liberty - Dissolve Items

In this guide, we will explain how you can use the Dissolve feature to break down various items in Throne & Liberty. 

Crafting items usually requires you to combine several lower rarity items into one higher rarity one. Sometimes you might want to reverse this process, or to simply convert one rare item you looted into several less rare ones (for example if you found a Precious Marind but want to craft Rare Skill Books). The Dissolve feature allows you to do this, and fills the same purpose as deconstruct or dismantle in other games.

The Dissolve feature in Throne & Liberty allows you to dismantle items into its constituent parts. This serves two main purposes:

If you return to the game after a long break, you may also find that some of your old crafting or upgrade items are now obsolete, and Dissolving them will convert them into their updated version.

Here are a few examples of the results of Dissolving particular items:

Open your inventory (press I on PC). If an item has a flask icon when you mouse over it, that means it can be Dissolved to create other items. 

If you just want to Dissolve one item, you can click the flask icon on that item's tooltip to begin the process. 

Alternatively, you can dismantle multiple items at a time by clicking the flask icon on the bottom of your inventory. This will highlight all items in your inventory that can be Dissolved. 

The Dissolve menu shows a preview of the items that will be created when you Dissolve the selected items. This also costs some gold to perform. 

When you're satisfied, click the Dissolve button. The selected items will be destroyed, and replaced with the new items.
