How to Edit Your UI in Throne & Liberty
NCSoft included a tool to edit your HUD/UI layout in Throne & Liberty.
This is especially useful for MMORPGs because there tends to be a lot happening on the screen and a lot of information. Some players are used to custom-made layouts they used in other games and may wish to create something similar.
If you're just getting into Throne & Liberty as your first MMO, this feature might not interest you at first, but players who get into more advanced content and PvP might wish to create their own UI layout to make the game feel more natural to play.
Fortunately, this is easy to accomplish.
To get started, open the main menu (press F10 on PC). In the Settings section at the bottom of the menu, choose Edit HUD. This will open the HUD Editing mode.
All UI panels, including those not currently active, will now be highlighted with black boxes. You can click and drag the panels to move them to a location of your choice.
Another floating menu, entitled Edit HUD, also appears on your screen. This menu contains the following options:
- Outer Spacing - Enable or disable additional spacing around the edges of the UI. If enabled, you can specify how large you would like the spacing to be.
- View Grid - Show or Hide the grid. This grid makes it easier to align the UI elements precisely. It will disappear when you close the Edit HUD screen. If enabled, you can specify how large you would like the grid cells to be.
- HUD UI Size - Resize the panels in your UI, making them larger or smaller, along with associated text sizes. Some players prefer a small HUD with condensed information, while others prefer things to be large and easy to read. Here, you can select a size that suits you.
- Personal Preset - Once you've created a setup you like, you can save it as a preset. This lets you store several HUD layouts and easily switch between them.
Press Reset if you made a mistake and need to reverse your changes. When you're finished, choose Confirm to save your changes.
