Equipment Upgrading is also known as Enchanting or Leveling Up your Equipment. For more guides about a variety of topics in TL, please check our Throne & Liberty Guides Database. How to Upgrade Equipment in Throne & Liberty Upgrading your Equipment in Throne and Liberty requires an item called a Growthstone. There are different Growthstone types (Weapon, Armour and Accessory Growthstones), and they are further broken down into rarities (Quality, Rare and Precious Growthstones). To upgrade a Quality item, you need a Quality Growhstone, while a Rare item requires a Rare Growthstone, and so forth. The rarity of an item determines how many times the item can be upgraded. Basic rarity items (coloured white) cannot be upgraded at all. To start upgrading, open the main menu (F10 on PC) and select the Equipment Enchanting button. This will bring up the Equipment Level Up screen. Equipment Enchanting in Throne & Liberty Choose an item from your inventory that you want to upgrade. This will bring you to a screen that previews the effects of the upgrade. There is an RNG effect with upgrading your equipment - each time you spend Growhstones on the upgrade, you will gain a partial process to the next level (with a 10% chance to immediately gain one entire level). This means that you usually have to invest Growthstones multiple times to upgrade by one level. The number of Growthstones required also depends on the current level of the item. If you are doing the first upgrade, it only costs 1 Growthstone. But each Level above that will cost one additional Growhstone, so things quickly get expensive. How to Upgrade Equipment in Throne & Liberty We'll now explain where you can obtain the Growthstones.
