Item Sets Guide for Throne and Liberty

In this quick guide, we will explain what Item Sets are in Throne & Liberty, how they work and whether or not it's worth using them for your character.

Item Sets are special sets of equipment that provide extra bonuses when you're simultaneously wearing a certain number of items from the set.

Most Item Sets provide an additional stat bonus if you have two pieces of the set equipped, and then another bonus when you have three or four pieces equipped.

When you're levelling up your character, you don't need to worry about item sets. At this point, it's best to keep equipping gear with the best stats as you obtain it. 

However, once you hit max level, it's advised to begin creating a build that suits your preferred playstyle and role. At this point, Item Sets become very important. If you don't use any, you'll miss out on buffs, and this will make your character weaker than other players who are using item sets. Of course, if you're only interested in playing casual PvE, you might not care about this, and that's fine. 

But players interested in more difficult PvE content, or PvP, should be on the lookout for Item Sets to equip. 

Most item sets in Throne & Liberty can be looted from specific enemies or locations, or crafted. 

The easiest way to find out how to obtain a specific item of equipment is to find it in the Craft menu (found by pressing F10 on PC to open the main menu), or in the Lithograph Book. 

You can then select the item's icon and choose the How to Aquire option to see a breakdown of where to find the item. 

If you're seeking to craft the item, you'll usually need to go to the Senior Crafters in Stonegard Castle.
