Morphs Beginner Guide for Throne and Liberty Kilana 7 months ago Beginner Share on Reddit Share on Twitter Share on Facebook Welcome to the Morphs Beginner Guide for Throne and Liberty. Morphs are creatures that you can transform into as a player in TL. Currently, there are three different types: Dash, glide, and swim. View all morphs on the Morph Database Page for Throne and Liberty. Unlike in most massively multiplayer online games, you don't get mounts in Throne and Liberty but transform into them yourself. At the beginning you have 3 "walking animals", a "flying animal" and an "swim animal" at your disposal. To take a closer look at them, go to the "Morph" tab via the menu (ESC or F10 by default). An overview is provided on the left: Level Up Dash Glide Swim How To Level Up Your Morphs in Throne and Liberty Your morph grows (gains experience) when you use it. Each morph type (dash, glide, swim) must be leveled separately. This means that to level up your Lutrang, you have to splash around in the water a lot. That means by using the respective morph you gain experience. Therefore, it is likely that your dash morph is maxed out first because you use it the most. Dash Morphs Dash is your running animal, which you can familiarize yourself with, at the beginning of the tutorial. If you look at the overview, you have three different morphs to choose from in Throne and Liberty: The Wild Skoll is a wolf from the Plains of Laslan. Its mane adapts to your hair color. The Saber Tyger is a nocturnal beast native to the cold climate of Nix. Then there is the Shadow Purpuma, which is a jaguar-like cat with purple spots. Purpumas are native to the black forests of Trutizan. Dash Morphs in Throne and Liberty No matter which one you choose: There are no advantages, only the look counts! There are already plenty of dash morphs that you can unlock. View them all in the Dash Morphs Database for Throne and Liberty. To transform into your Dash Morph, all you have to do is press left shift while you are running in Throne and Liberty. If you stop, you will transform back into your humanoid character. Glide Morph The Bald Eagle from the eastern Solisium carries you safely from high cliffs over further instances back to the ground. In the beginning, the Bald Eagle is the only flying morph you can choose from. You can unlock a lot more flying animals. You can find a full list on the Glide Morph Database page. Glide Morphs in Throne and Liberty To glide, you have to stand on an elevated spot. For example, a cliff or a tower. Then you run off and press the space bar while you are already in the air to transform yourself into a bird. Press W to speed up. Press S to descend. Use A and D to glide to the left or right. Space lets you ascend while you transform back with 2x Shift. Swim Morph As soon as your character jumps into the water, he transforms into an aquatic morph. View all of them on the Swim Morph Database page for Throne and Liberty. The first - and at the beginning only - swimming morph is a cute otter-like creature, the Roving Lutrang. Over time, you can unlock seven more Aquatic morphs. Press W to swim forwards Backwards with S Use A and D to swim left or right If you press Shift while swimming, you get a small speed boost.
