Put simply, Endurance reduces the Critical Hit chance of an attacking enemy. A Critical Hit enforces the maximum possible base damage of the attack (sourced from the damage range displayed on the weapon tooltip). However, there is a more complicated system at play here. Every point of Endurance is subtracted from the enemy's Critical Hit chance, directly reducing their chance to land a Critical Hit when they attack you. Every point of excess Endurance (higher than the enemy's Critical Hit chance) is converted into Glancing Hit Chance, the opposite of a Critical Hit. If the enemy lands a Glancing Hit, the minimum possible damage will be enforced onto their base damage. Note that like other similar stats, Endurance is divided into Melee, Ranged and Magic versions, which each defend against attacks of the named type. Each 10 points of Endurance (and Critical Hit) equates to around 1% chance, slightly modified by diminishing returns. Consider the following examples: The enemy attacking you has 600 Critical Hit Chance, and you have 500 Evasion - Your 500 Evasion is subtracted from the enemy Critical Hit, giving them an effective crit chance of 100, translating to a 10% chance to land a Critical Hit. The enemy has 600 Critical Hit, and you have 600 Evasion - In this scenario, the enemy cannot land a Critical Hit on you. The enemy has 500 Critical Hit, and you have 600 Evasion - If your Evasion is higher than enemy Crit chance, you begin enforcing Glancing Hit Chance on their attacks. In this scenario, the enemy cannot land a Crit on you, and they have around a 10% chance of a Glancing Hit, reducing the damage of their attack. Endurance stat in Throne & Liberty Is Endurance Worth Using in Throne & Liberty? Because it is always giving you a defensive bonus no matter how high the enemy's Critical Chance is, Endurance is almost univerally useful. It's especially important in PvP, where your assailants are likely to have Critical Chance stacked quite high. Possible exceptions are players who use Sword & Shield or Daggers as their weapon type, because these players are able to stack Evasion higher than anyone else, they may therefore want to place more emphasis on stacking Evasion rather than Endurance.
