Throne and Liberty [Announcement] Update Notes for Tuesday 23 June (1/2) – New Territory ‘Nix’, Weapon ‘Gwon-gap’ and Content Updates
Hello, this is THRONE AND LIBERTY.
We would like to inform you of the updates that will be applied during the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, 23 June 2026.
Please see below for further details.
2. Update Notes (2/2) – Equipment Progression System Overhaul and New Equipment
Update details
The Purification System, a new way of obtaining items, has been added.
- If you purify the ‘Red Frost’ items, which drop exclusively in the Nix region, you can obtain a new item.
■ Red Frost Items
- This item, which is used as a material for purification, is imbued with the curse of the Archmage Shermir.
- Once players have obtained the Red Frost item, they must take it to Shermir’s Celestial Sphere and perform ‘Purification’ to obtain a new item.
- Red Frost items cannot be equipped or used until they have been purified.
- Red Frost items can be obtained from random events, the ‘Nix’s Afterimage’ content, and certain objects.
■ Storage guidelines
- Red Frost items have the property of disappearing under the following circumstances.
> In the event of death within the Nix area
> If you leave the Nix region (including via teleport)
> If you exit the game whilst in possession of an item,
- Red Frost items have the property of dropping on the field in the following situations.
> If you die whilst playing as Nix’s Afterimage
> When attacked by ‘Skill Scroll: The Invisible Hand’
■ Red Frost Bag
- The Red Frost Bag is a special bag that can only be activated in the Nix region.
- Red Frost items can only be stored in a Red Frost bag.
- The Red Frost Bag features a ‘safety bag’ function that prevents items from being lost.
- Items stored in the safety bag are retained even upon death or when moving.
> Please note, however, that if you leave the Nix area entirely or exit the game, the items in your safety bag will also disappear.
- The standard capacity of the Red Frost Bag is 22 slots in total, including 1 safety slot, and it cannot be expanded.
> As part of your membership benefits, you will receive one additional safety bag slot on top of your standard storage allowance.
■ Shermir’s Celestial Sphere

- These are purification devices, one of which exists in each region of Nix.
- It is normally active at all times, but is deactivated when the ‘Oath of the Nail and Hammer’ event is triggered.
- Interacting with an activated celestial sphere opens the purification UI.
- You can purify your Red Frost items by registering them with the Celestial Sphere.
Before purification | Cleaning in progress | Purification results |
- Purification proceeds slot by slot; if you are attacked by an enemy whilst purification is in progress, it may be interrupted.
- Depending on the grade and type of Red Frost item, you may obtain different items; once purification is complete, the items are immediately stored in your normal inventory.
> If the purification process is interrupted, only the items from the slots where purification has been completed will be saved to your inventory.
■ The Flame of Purification
- These points are essential for purification and can be obtained through Nix content.
Where to Obtain the Flames of Purification | Quantity |
Nix Region Quest Log | 5,000 points per session |
Hunting the Afterimage of Nix | 2–9 points for each ‘Nix’s Afterimage’ monster defeated |
Some objects within Nix Field | 15 to 200 points per object |
- There is a weekly cap of 8,000 on the amount of Purifying Flames that can be obtained through hunting and gathering.
- The Flames of Purification obtained by using request forms and items are not included in the weekly acquisition cap.
- You can check your Purification Flame reserve at the top of the HUD.

[Dev Comment] Guidance on the Toland Guangsheng Arc Weapon Calibration Guide to Calibrating the Toland Gwangseong Arc Weapon Tolland’s Luminary Arc weapons obtained previously will be adjusted at the start of the new season. However, the correction is not carried out in a single step, but is applied in two stages. • Phase 1: Apply adjustments in line with the current season’s standing • Phase 2: Additional adjustments applied when Nix Arkbos appears Even after the first rebalancing, the Toland Light Arc weapon can still be used as a highly valuable piece of equipment from the start of the season. However, if adjustments are made to match the Knicks’ Arkbos rating right at the start of the season, As the gap in progression between users could become excessively large, we have implemented a phased adjustment system. Furthermore, from this season onwards, the equipment progression system has been revised to allow players to upgrade their equipment step by step. In such an environment, if existing arc weapons are immediately calibrated to their final phase, We felt that this could have a significant impact on the balance of character progression early in the season. Accordingly, at the start of the season, the first round of adjustments, tailored to the current season’s environment, will be applied as a priority, and We plan to carry out further adjustments in line with the timing of Nix Arkboss’s appearance. This will enable us to maintain the scarcity and value of existing Arc weapons, whilst also, We aim to take into account both the progression process at the start of the season and the significance of acquiring equipment. Eligible items - Deluze Noah’s Light Sword - Giant Brook’s Light Sword - Deleuze’s ‘Noah’s Light-Sword’ - Teluz Noah’s Light Sword - Giant Brook’s Palace of Light - Gwangseong Hall at Giant Brook - Deleuze’s ‘Tree of Light’ - Deleuze’s ‘Noah’s Light Spear’ - Giant Brook’s Light Sphere - Deluze Noah Gwangseong-gwang-gap |
■ Consolidation of grades and introduction of levels
- The ‘Tier’ rating system for items will be consolidated into a single system, and the concept of item level will be introduced.
> Rare Tier 1/Tier 2 → Rare
> Hero Level 1/2/3 → Hero
- Item level refers to the level of progression of an item of equipment. For identical items, the higher the item level, the greater the base performance.
> Please note, however, that even if the item level is the same, the performance of each piece of equipment may vary.
- Item level progression is determined based on the average of the highest levels within each category: weapons, armour and accessories.
- The higher the average item level, the greater the chance of obtaining higher-level equipment in future drops.
> However, depending on the odds, you may also obtain equipment of the same or a lower level.
- Each piece of equipment has a set level range, and it cannot be levelled beyond the item level range.
- Equipment with a fixed level does not increase in item level and does not affect the equipment’s growth level.
■ Succession
- A new feature called ‘Succession’ has been added, which allows you to transfer the level of a piece of equipment with a higher item level than the one you are currently using to your existing equipment, thereby levelling it up.
- Even when inheriting, you can transfer the level or latent abilities of the source equipment whilst retaining the growth of the target equipment, such as its traits and resonances.
- You can access the Inheritance UI via the Inheritance button at the bottom of your bag.
- If the item being inherited possesses latent abilities, these can be transferred to another item.
- However, in this case, the number of times the latent ability can be inherited is reduced; if this number reaches 0, it cannot be inherited by any other equipment.

> If you use resources to seal an item, the number of times its latent ability can be inherited will be reset.
- You will need an Inheritance Stone to transfer potential to another piece of equipment.
> You can inherit latent abilities even if the weapon is of a different type or the equipment is for a different body part, but the number of Inheritance Stones required will increase.
> Any equipment used as materials will be destroyed.
- The Succession Stone can be purchased from the Resistance Supplies Merchant, or obtained with a low probability by melting down equipment of level 51 or higher.
- The level range that can be achieved through inheritance extends up to the equipment’s maximum level.
- Inheritance is only possible between equipment of the same type. For example, weapons can only be inherited by other weapons; whilst inheritance is possible even if the specific sub-type of the equipment differs, additional costs or specialised materials may be required.
- Equipment with a fixed item level cannot be used as a material for levelling up the item level of other equipment during inheritance.
■ Removal of Equipment Enhancement, Inheritance and Linking
- As equipment enhancement and linking have been removed, the enhancement menu that was previously accessible via the item tooltip will no longer be available.
- Consequently, the stat-switching function previously available within the Enhancement UI can now be accessed via ‘Mafrion’s Recombiner’ (the former Skill Core device).
> Maprion’s Recombiner is located in the village of Herba and the Nix Border District.
- The sorting order within the bag will change from being based on enhancement level to being based on item level.
- Following the removal of the link, compensation will be paid for the slots that were previously left open, as follows.
Category | Reward |
Basic payment | Blessing of Solisium (12 hours) × 1 |
For each of the first slots in Yeondong | Blessing of Solisium (12 hours) × 1 |
For each of the second slots in Yeondong | 100 decorative coins |
- Compensation for the removal of Unique equipment enhancements will be paid out as follows.
Level | The Crystal of Chaos |
1 | 2 |
2 | 6 |
3 | 13 |
4 | 23 |
5 | 37 |
6 | 53 |
7 | 79 |
8 | 109 |
9 | 142 |
10 | 179 |
11 | 220 |
12 | 264 |
- The material used to change the stats of Unique equipment will be changed to ‘Stat Change Scrolls’.
- Stat Transfer Scrolls can be crafted under ‘Crafting – Miscellaneous – Materials’.
> Alternative materials have been added so that the Crystal of Chaos can be used to switch stats.
> The cost of open seats will be reduced from 800 to 500.
> These can be replaced with 250 new open seats.
[Dev Comment] From the Nix season onwards, the default stats of seasonal gear will be partially revised to improve the combat environment. l Nix’s seasonal armourwill feature a base health stat. l All Nix seasonal accessoriescome with the ‘Resistance to Status Effects’ option as standard. In previous battles, encounters with characters who had focused their stats on attack often ended very quickly, and, Status effects, too, were often utilised solely on the basis of the skill’s high success rate, without the need to invest in separate hit stats. Nix’s seasonal gear has been designed to address these issues. We have enhanced combat stability by ensuring that players can secure a baseline amount of health through armour and gain resistance to status effects through accessories. This will go some way towards mitigating the tendency for battles to end instantly, and, We have also adjusted the system so that hit and resistance stats play a more significant role in the application of status effects. This change is intended to clarify the importance of stats relating to survivability and status effects, and These adjustments are intended to create a combat environment in which a variety of set-ups and progression paths can be meaningful. |
■ New Equipment
- New equipment that can be obtained in the new region, Nix, will be added.
Category | New equipment to be added |
Weapons | Five types of each weapon |
Armour | 4 sets of sheet metal |
4 sets of leather | |
4 sets of fabric | |
3 types of capes | |
Jewellery | Six varieties of each item, excluding rings |
12 types of rings |
> However, Brooch will not be releasing any new equipment.
- New equipment can be levelled up to a higher item level than existing equipment.
The item-related systems will be overhauled and the UI will be improved.
- The attributes window has been updated to reflect the changes to the unlocking and enhancement systems, and the materials required have been updated.
- A growth system has been added following the opening of Resonance.
- ‘Latent Abilities’ have been added, featuring special options that enhance skills or boost a character’s stats.
- A sealing function has been added to replace the rubbings.
■ Characteristics
- The default attributes that were previously assigned to equipment by default have been removed; these can now be unlocked and enhanced via separate items rather than through the equipment itself.
> The method will change from using the same existing equipment to using common materials.
> When you obtain equipment, it has no traits; you can unlock three traits using Trait Unlock Stones.
- Attributes of Rare and lower rarity will be removed, whilst attributes on equipment items of Heroic rarity and above can be unlocked and levelled up.
- Use the Trait Unlock Stone (New) and Unique Trait Unlock Stone (New) as materials to unlock traits.
> You can unlock the properties of Unique-grade equipment by using Unique Property Unlock Stones as materials.
- Trait Unlocking Stones can be obtained directly through various content, and can be crafted using Trait Unlocking Stone Fragments and existing Unlocking Stones.
> These can be obtained through the Codex, the Rubbing Collection, the Tower of Tidal, and weekly missions, and can be purchased from the Honour Coin Merchant and the Resistance Goods Merchant, amongst others.
- The crafting recipes for Unlock Stone Packs, which can be crafted using existing Adventure Coins, will be available until 17:00 on 16 July 2026.
> Adventure Coins are a type of capped currency provided to ensure equipment crafting; however, when used to craft Trait Unlock Stones, this made it difficult to fulfil their original purpose of crafting equipment.
> Accordingly, we intend to adjust the uses of Adventure Coins in line with the original purpose of their introduction, and to ease the burden involved in the equipment crafting process.
- Consequently, the crafting recipe for the Unlock Stone Pack, which could previously be crafted using Adventure Coins, will be removed, and Unlock Stones will now be supplied separately from Adventure Coins.
- You can level up your traits using Trait Enhancement Stones (New) and Unique Trait Enhancement Stones (New) as materials.
> The system will change from one where characters level up using existing items and extracts to one where they level up using common materials.
> Attribute Enhancement Stones have an item level and can be used to enhance the attributes of equipment of the same or lower level.
> When enhancing a trait, you can level it up by the amount of experience points contained in the Trait Enhancement Stone.
- Trait Enhancement Stones can be obtained directly or crafted from Trait Enhancement Stone Fragments.
> If you add a refining catalyst as an additional ingredient during crafting, you can create a box of refined attribute enhancement stones that can be traded on the exchange.
> Refined Total Essence can be obtained from a wide variety of content, including co-op dungeons, raids and the Quest Coin Merchant.
- Attribute Enhancement Stones and Enhancement Stone Shards can be obtained from the Tower of Tides, the Exploration Codex, Co-op Dungeons, Weekly Missions and other sources.
- Unique Enhancement Stones and Enhancement Stone Shards can be obtained from raids, quest coin vendors and other sources.
- The traits available exclusively on Unique-grade equipment will be renamed ‘Unique Traits’.
> Unique traits can be levelled up using enhancement stones specific to each trait, rather than generic materials.
> Any Unique Trait Extracts you currently hold will be replaced with Unique Trait Enhancement Stones that can be used on the same body part and trait.

- Following the removal of Jeon Seung, the Blessing Points previously granted to Hero Tier 3 equipment will be awarded as compensation as follows.
> For every 50,000 Blessing Points accumulated, you will receive 1 Level 80 Trait Enhancement Stone.
- It is no longer possible to extract traits from equipment, and existing non-bound trait extract items will be replaced as follows, depending on their type.
> Rare to Heroic Tier 1: Quest Coins equivalent to the sum of the equipment’s selling price and the extraction cost (based on the selling price at the Quest Coin Shop)
> Hero Level 2: 2 Refining Catalysts
> Hero Level 3: 10 Refining Catalysts
> General properties of unique equipment: 20 Refining Catalysts
> Unique attributes of unique equipment: Enhancement stones for the unique attributes corresponding to the relevant equipment slot and options
- As Extraction Stones are no longer in use, crafting recipes have been added that allow you to exchange them for other items.
■ Resonance
- You can use the Attribute Resonance Stone (New) to select and unlock the resonance of your choice.
> Attribute Resonance Stones can be obtained directly or crafted from Attribute Resonance Stone Fragments.
> Attribute Resonance Stones and Resonance Stone Fragments are no longer available via Material Conversion; they can now be obtained through content such as the Rubbing Collection, Abyss Hunting and quests in the Nix region.
- You can use Attribute Resonance Stones as materials to enhance resonance.
> Attribute Resonance Stones can be obtained directly or crafted from Attribute Resonance Stone Fragments.
- Once Resonance is unlocked, you can use the new system to level it up to Stage 4.
> Unlocking Resonance activates four slots, and the stat tier is determined by the sum of the numbers in those four slots.
> Each slot can be upgraded to a maximum of 10, and to reach the maximum resonance level (Level 4), the total sum of the slot numbers must be 40.
> Each slot can be levelled up using Attribute Resonance Stones.
■ Potential
- ‘Latent Abilities’—effects that are randomly applied to equipment upon acquisition—have been added.
- Potential consists of special options that can enhance skills or increase a character’s stats.
> However, there are some items whose latent abilities cannot be unlocked.
- You can check the probability of a latent ability being applied in the tooltip for an unacquired item or in the equipment information window.

> The ‘Existing Attributes’ window has been renamed to the ‘Equipment Information’ window.
> The ‘Potential’ tab in the Equipment Information window displays the probability of a potential ability manifesting, and allows you to check the probabilities for each possible skill or stat boost within that potential ability.
- Potential abilities come with stats or skills, and skills can be enhanced or levelled up.
- Even if equipment with unlocked latent abilities is sealed, the latent abilities remain and the equipment can be sold on the Exchange.
- As the base attributes of equipment are being removed, the items previously displayed as attributes on the existing marketplace will now be shown as latent abilities.
- The ‘Traits’ search option will be removed from the exchange search criteria, and searches for latent ability stats and latent ability skills will be added.
■ Seal
- The ‘paper copy’ feature for equipment will be removed, and a sealing system will be added to convert it into tradable equipment.
- Sealed items have the following characteristics:
> The item name will be prefixed with [Sealed].
> A ‘Sealed’ icon will appear at the top of the item details.
> A seal symbol appears on the item image.
> At the bottom of the item information, there is a ‘Seal’ tag and an icon indicating whether the item can be sealed.
- Sealed items cannot be equipped; they can only be equipped once the seal has been broken. Breaking the seal removes the sealed status, after which the item can no longer be traded.
- The ‘Rubbing’ option in the bag menu will be removed and replaced by the ‘Seal’ option.
- The ‘Seal’ menu allows you to mark equipment that cannot be traded as ‘sealed’.
> Only certain items can be sealed.
> An item that has been sealed and then unsealed cannot be sealed again.
- To reseal an item, you must use the Seal Key and Solant; the cost of sealing varies depending on the item.
- All equipment items previously listed for sale on the marketplace will be delisted and moved to the warehouse.
> The ‘Equipment’ category includes not only equipment itself, but also items related to it, such as rubbing paper and extracts.
> Items awaiting settlement will remain as they are.
- All equipment items listed for sale on the Guild Exchange will be removed from the Exchange and moved to the Guild Storage.
- The rubbings will be removed and, in their place, you will be given tradable equipment that can be used to create rubbings.
> E.g. ‘Rare Rubbing Paper: Moonlight’s Bowstring’ is awarded as ‘Moonlight’s Bowstring’.
> The trade attributes of an item are determined by those of the rubbing.
- Exchange items are delivered by post, whilst Guild Exchange items are placed in the Guild Vault.
■ New category added to the exchange
- A ‘Skill Cores’ tab has been added under the ‘Items’ tab in the Exchange.
- A 'Gauntlets' tab has been added under the 'Weapons' tab in the Exchange.
■ Equipment Dissolution
- Previously, when equipment was dissolved, a portion of the Magic Powder spent on enhancing the equipment was returned based on its enhancement level; however, following the reorganisation of equipment progression to an item level system, Magic Powder will no longer be returned based on the enhancement level.
- The cost of dissolving equipment has changed.

■ Item UI
- The existing ‘View Enhancement Levels’ (Alt+G) function will be replaced by the ‘Detailed View’ function.

Equipment attributes will be adjusted following the revamp of the item system.
- Seasonal adjustments have been applied to certain items for which acquisition routes were previously limited.
- The levels of existing equipment have been adjusted according to their grade and enhancement stage.
- 60 new Hero Skill Cores have been added that can be equipped on unique armour and accessories.
■ Equipment
[Dev Comment] As part of this season’s revamp, separate seasonal adjustment values will be applied to eight types of equipment for which acquisition routes were previously very limited. Eligible items will be replaced with items that meet the new seasonal specifications at the start of the season, and some stat adjustments will be made during this replacement process. These devices are designed to retain their status and performance even after the change of season, and If you progress to a new stage of growth, you can realise potential that surpasses that of the previous season. In particular, as this is an item for which acquisition opportunities were extremely limited, we have designed it in such a way that its value and rarity will be maintained even after the season changes. Although there will be some changes to certain stats, we expect that, when viewed in terms of the final growth outcomes, these changes will be more than satisfactory for existing owners. Please refer to the list below for details of the eligible items and the conversion results. |
- Due to the item level overhaul, the stats of some pieces of equipment will change.

■ Separation of Unique Armour and Accessory Equipment Skills
- Equipment skills will be removed from unique armour and accessories, and slots for equipping skill cores will be added instead.
- Players who currently own unique armour or accessories will receive one Skill Core via in-game mail for each piece of equipment they possess.
> The skill core you receive varies depending on whether you equip armour or accessories. Armour grants the ‘Skill Core: Black Wing Barrier’, whilst accessories grant the ‘Skill Core: Black Wing Power’.
■ Handling the Unique Armour/Accessories Shop
- When purchasing unique armour or accessories from the shop, the number of ‘Soulstones of Chaos: Kalansia’ required will be reduced from 80 to 60.
- ‘Skill Core: Black Wing Barrier’ and ‘Skill Core: Black Wing Power’ will be added to the shop, each requiring 20 ‘Soulstones of Chaos: Kalansia’.
■Addition of Hero-grade Weapon Skill Cores
- Five new skill cores have been added that increase or reduce damage dealt to specific races (Wild, Aine, Creature, Demon and Undead).
- You have a chance to obtain some of the revamped Elite Monsters from this update when you defeat them.
■ Addition of Skill Cores for Hero-grade Armour and Accessories
- 60 new Hero-grade skill cores that can be equipped on Unique-grade armour and accessories will be added.
> Among accessories, brooches cannot be equipped with skill cores.
- You can obtain them from a variety of content, including Arc Bosses, Battlefields, Nix’s Afterimage, Challenge Dimensions, Field Bosses, Co-op Dungeons and Nix Field Hunting.
- When you melt them down, you will receive 8 Resin Cores; if you collect 60 of them, you can craft a Resin Flower, which gives you a chance to obtain one of 60 different Skill Cores.
> When you obtain Skill Cores by playing content or opening Resin Flowers, there is a low chance of obtaining a tradable Skill Core.
> No resin cores are awarded when a weapon skill core is melted down.
■ Skill Core
- The properties of tradable skill cores will change to ‘untradable’ when equipped.
As new equipment is added and some items are removed from the rewards, the content rewards will be reorganised.
■ Changes to Equipment Rewards
- Some of the existing equipment will no longer be available as rewards.
> The equipment you currently own will not disappear.
> Equipment that can no longer be obtained as a reward will be locked at a specific item level for each type, and it will no longer be possible to increase its item level. Furthermore, it will no longer be possible to list such equipment on the Exchange.
- Following changes to the equipment list, the sources of equipment previously awarded in various content will be reorganised.
■ Battlefield Coins
- At the existing Battle Coin distribution points, Honour Coins will be issued instead of Battle Coins.
■ Abyss Blessing Pouch
- As equipment enhancement is being phased out and the progression system is being overhauled to focus on item level, the growth stones specific to each equipment type will be removed. Consequently, the rewards previously provided from the Abyss Blessing Bags—which were growth stones—will be replaced with various gem ores required for item level inheritance.
- The types of reward equipment will change due to certain items being removed from the existing rewards.
- Consequently, the quest rewards previously provided in the various Abyss Blessing Pouches will be removed.
■ Changes to Guild Treasure Chest Rewards
- The rewards from the Guild Treasure Chest have been changed.

- A [User Information Sharing System], which allows you to view information about other players, has been added.
- Convenience has been improved in the areas of housing management, gathering, material processing, crafting and decoration.
- New achievements have been added, along with an achievement search function.
[Dev Comment] Notice regarding the addition of the skill combo system During the Nix season, a skill combo system will be introduced to provide a more intuitive combat experience. The skill chaining system is a feature that allows you to immediately use a pre-designated follow-up skill by entering a command after using a specific skill. When a chainable skill is activated, a prompt will appear on the screen, and you can press the designated hotkey to seamlessly chain the next skill. This system has been designed to reduce the burden of complex skill inputs and make it easier for players to execute their intended skill combos. We have also introduced dedicated shortcut keys for some frequently used skill combinations, allowing players to use their skills more quickly and conveniently during combat. The skill chaining system is not intended to replace the existing control scheme, but is provided as an optional feature designed to make gameplay more convenient. We expect that this will not only make combat controls more accessible, but also allow players to experience the intended combat flow for each class more naturally. |

[Dev Comment] From the Nix season onwards, the system will be updated to allow you to view other adventurers’ equipment set-ups. Previously, only certain pieces of equipment information could be viewed, and it was also possible to restrict the disclosure of information depending on the settings. One advantage of these features was that they allowed users to enjoy the process of developing their own settings through individual research and trial and error. However, as time went on, an increasing number of new and returning adventurers were finding it difficult to decide on a path for their character’s development. It was difficult to find information within the game about which equipment to aim for and which options to prioritise, and, It was a situation where even looking at other adventurers’ set-ups was no easy task. Accordingly, from the Nix season onwards, we intend to change our approach to making equipment set-up information publicly available. With this change, new and returning adventurers will be able to set their progression goals by looking at other adventurers’ equipment setups, and, We also expect that existing adventurers will be able to share their various set-ups and research findings more easily. The purpose of sharing equipment set-ups is not to provide a specific correct answer, but rather to, These changes are intended to create an environment where players can explore a variety of playstyles and progression paths. We will continue to improve the relevant features so that we can provide a smoother experience in terms of information sharing and growth in the future. |

[Dev Comment] Improvements to Housing, Gathering and Workshops These improvements to the lifestyle content will allow you, the adventurers, to gather materials, craft items, and It has been designed to allow you to focus entirely on the ‘innate joy’ of decorating your home—your own personal space. We have boldly overhauled the life level cap, which many adventurers have long found disappointing, and, We have made improvements to ensure that players no longer have to give up gathering or crafting simply because they are restricted by their level. We have also significantly reduced the waiting time, which used to involve a tedious wait until processing was complete. Now anyone can head out into the field to gather the ingredients they want, and, You can experience a seamless gameplay flow where you return to the village, process your resources and immediately decorate your home. In addition, we have relaxed our relocation terms so that you can move your lovingly tended home to wherever you wish at any time. If you’ve found a new home you like, we hope you can now look forward to your new beginning with greater peace of mind. To ensure that you, our adventurers, continue to find deep immersion and enjoyment in decorating and tending to your own space within the world of TL, We will continue to review and improve the relevant features. |

[Dev Comment] On 21 August 2024, we unveiled the Toland Adventure Codex to all adventurers for the very first time. Since then, two interludes have been added, but rather than allowing you to continue your adventure directly, It was more a role of explaining the world of TL and expanding the story beyond it. Up until now, we have approached *Adventure Codex* not from the perspective of a single member of the resistance, but rather, We have strived to create a story in which you, the adventurers, take centre stage. We have expanded on the early sections of the original Adventure Codex, added a spin-off, and filled in the gaps with stories that had not previously been included in the universe. We have also been working steadily to enhance the immersive experience of the adventure through UI/UX redesigns and narrative improvements. Today, finally, with the Nix update, We are delighted to present to you the result of this work: the new Adventure Codex, ‘Part 3: The Frozen Wastes of Seolbaek’. Although our journey will continue to be a busy one, filled with new growth opportunities and a variety of content, For this adventure, in particular, I would recommend taking the time to savour the cutscenes that appear as you play. Furthermore, in certain situations, it switches to Claw Mode to showcase a completely different combat style. [Dev Comment] In the Nix season, the way attack speed stats are calculated will be adjusted slightly. Previously, the basic attack cooldown was reduced directly via the skill stat, and, The system was designed so that the attack speed boost provided by equipment was also applied here. During this process, it was observed that as the attack speed increased, the efficiency of the increase also rose, and, In particular, with certain weapons that have a short basic attack cycle, we were able to achieve an attack speed that exceeded the intended level. Attack speed is a crucial factor that directly affects the feel of combat, but if it reaches excessively high levels, This also leads to problems such as the rhythm of combat being disrupted or the opponent having significantly less time to react to actions. This phenomenon was particularly pronounced in PvP environments. Accordingly, in the Nix season, to ensure that the attack speed stat functions more reliably, We have adjusted the calculation method and, at the same time, adjusted the overall attack speed levels. However, this change is not simply intended to reduce attack speed. As for classes that were heavily reliant on attack speed and those that performed relatively poorly in PvE environments, We have also carried out separate balance adjustments to ensure that combat performance is not unduly reduced. Movement speed is also adjusted accordingly. Previously, various movement speed-boosting effects would stack, sometimes resulting in movement speeds higher than expected. As a result, the character would sometimes appear to move suddenly or appear unstable on the opponent’s screen, and There were also situations during combat where it was difficult to accurately gauge the opponent’s movements. Consequently, in the Nix season, we have adjusted the maximum movement speed range to prevent movement speed from rising to excessively high levels. This change is designed to maintain a comfortable journey whilst This adjustment has been made to allow players to see their characters’ movements more clearly during combat. Our aim is to provide a more stable combat experience in both PvP and PvE environments. Going forward, attack speed and movement speed will continue to be factors that enhance the enjoyment of combat, whilst also, We will continue to make improvements to ensure the system functions reliably across a wide range of roles and combat environments. |
