Hello, this is THRONE AND LIBERTY.

We'd like to inform you about our scheduled maintenance on Thursday, 10 October 2024.


Updates include

The siege system will be changed to anonymous.
- Character names will be changed to anonymous and guild marks will be changed during sieges.
- Costume colours will be displayed differently depending on your relationship with allies, other guilds, and captured guilds.
[Dev Comment]
Sieges in Throne & Liberty are an exciting way for up to four friendly guilds to join forces to claim the throne.
However, with so many players involved, it can be difficult to distinguish between allies and enemies, which can lead to confusing situations.
To address this issue, we're adding a feature to make it easier to recognise other guilds in a siege, other than friendly guilds. We want to protect your allies in a non-personalised battle, but also help you quickly identify your enemies in battle so you can play strategically.
We also hope this will help mitigate faction over-sizing and encourage more guilds to participate in sieges and enjoy the thrill of victory.
Region changes
- We've changed the region in which Siege takes place from 'Conflict Zones' to 'War Zones'.
> In the War Zone, you will be at enmity with other characters except allies (same guild, friendly guild, same party), allowing you to attack other characters even when you are not in PvP.

Changing your character name / guild mark
- During a siege, your character name and guild mark will change depending on your guild relationship.
Same guilds and friendly guilds will have a blue guild mark,
and your character's name is displayed.
Other guilds will have a red guild mark and their character name,
four random numbers in the form of 'Red1234'.
- While anonymous, the Guild Leader will still be displayed as 'Guild Leader' and their rank will be indicated by a mark.

> Guilds that are in the process of taking over during a siege are coloured gold to distinguish them.
> Usurpers will retain their original appearance.
Notation changes
- Guilds that have captured a province will display the original "Guild Mark" and "Guild Name" in the Map and Siege Status.
- In Stellar Vision, other characters will be displayed anonymously, with a rank marker.
> To select a guild that will appear anonymously in Stellavision in Siege, you must select 'Other'.
- When chatting during a siege, you will not see speech bubbles.
> The chat window will display.

The capture effect of some Origin Stones and Portal Stones has changed.
- The capture effect of the Conquest of Quithis Origin Stone has changed.
- The effect of capturing a Daegon Dimensionstone will change.

Transmute Matter
- Transmute Matter has added the ability to select the type of rune to transform.

Added a duplicate check when renaming characters.
- You can now check for duplicates before making the change to see if the change is possible.
Some system and content improvements and changes.
- The difficulty of the Exploration Codex has been adjusted.
- The difficulty of Co-op Dungeons has been adjusted.

Exploration Codex
- Added a hint to the spawn condition for Honeycomb Ants in [Stoneguard], [Ant Burrow], and [Misery Begins].
Co-operative Dungeons
- In [Cruel Witch's Garden], the effects of Noon's Poisonous Vines have been changed to.
> Take 10% of maximum health damage per second.
Crafting
- Crafting equipment crate items will now only be available through the Goods Maker NPC.
Other conveniences and improvements have been made.
- Added the option to not rewatch a performance.
- Gamepad UI controls have been improved.

Do Not Replay Choreography
- We've added a "Don't Replay" option to the Skill Enhancement Choreography screen to prevent the choreography from being seen on subsequent actions. This can also be set via the Preferences - Gameplay - Content tab.
Gamepad UI controls
- Costumes] Changed the way to access the "Details" of the selected costume from the L-Stick to the Y (△) key.
- Costumes] The text on the main button has been changed to "Wear All" to distinguish it from the ability to "equip/unequip" only the selected costume.
Field Dungeon
- Displayed the name of the [Ant Honey Jar] object in the ant burrow to improve visibility.

- Fixed an issue in [Regional Events] - [Lanternseed Festival] where the Watson brothers would remain in the hunting grounds after the event ended.
- Fixed an issue in [Regional Events] - [Conquest of Quistis] - [Sealing the Frost Storm] where the ranking announcement would display twice in a row.
- Fixed an issue in [Regional Events] - [Black Anvil Garrison] - [Operation Obsidian] where the map icon for Drillakoi's Delivery Point would disappear.
- Exploration Codex] - [Crimson Manor] - [Dangerous Variants] Fixed an issue where progress markers were not displaying correctly for some objects.

- Field Boss] Fixed an issue where the Hunting Ground Info button would not display in the target UI for Akman and Dekman.

- Arkvos] - Fixed an issue where Deluz Noah would intermittently descend below the surface when knocked back by the Wave skill while in a rage.
- Arkvos] - Fixed an issue where Deluz Noah would incorrectly teleport when hit by the Longsword's "Resolute Charge" skill during the Conflict event.
- [Co-op] - Fixed an issue where Paralysing Poison and Aerial Shackle would intermittently not work while fighting Chimarex in the Temple of Slaughter.
- [Co-op] - In [Temple of Carnage], the stun caused by Chimarex's Paralysis Poison is now dispelled by his longbow skill, Purifying Touch.
- Co-op] - Fixed an issue in [Mansion of Tragedy] where two reward chests would overlap after defeating the boss.
- Co-op] - [Mansion of Tragedy] Fixed an issue where Quick Heal could not be used on Limoni at 50% health or less on targets of Thorny Parasite Flower for a limited time.

- [Co-op] - [Cruel Witch's Garden] Fixed an issue where the Thorny Witch's 'Toxic Zone' animation would not disappear.
- Cooperative Dungeon] - [Cruel Witch's Garden] Fixed an issue where jumping while using Neon Vercant's "Thorn Surge" skill would cause the floor slab to become invisible.
- [Co-op] - [Cruel Witch's Garden] Fixed an issue where spikes summoned by Neon Vercant would intermittently remain invisible.

System error fixes
- [Battle Pass] Fixed an issue where "(Amiibo) Woolly Wolfie", a reward from the Battle Pass: Transcendent Star Premium Pass, would not activate in the [Menu > Amiibo] summon list when obtained.
- Regional Events] Fixed an issue where the information in the reward window would display incorrectly when playing between regional events with interim reward announcements (Operation Talisman Transfer, Starlight Stele Festival).
> This will not affect the actual rewards you receive.
- Guilds] Fixed an issue where the search string could not be reset after searching for a guild tag when using a gamepad.
- Guilds] Fixed an issue where the guild mark displayed in system messages sometimes differed from the actual guild mark.
- Emotes] Fixed an issue where the "Sentence to Death" motion could not be used as a chat command.
- Personal Relationships] Fixed an issue where characters you are already friends with would sometimes not appear in the list.
- Preferences] Fixed loading prompts getting stuck at "0%" when "Preload Shaders" is set to Low.
- HUD Editing] Fixed UI changes made using HUD editing sometimes being printed in the wrong place when warping through dungeons, etc.
- Matter Transmutation] Fixed scrolling resetting during combat.
- UI] Fixed broken set meal icons in the Cooking UI and broken rune icons when sharing chat.
Fixed gamepad errors
- Fixed an issue where the filters in the dissolve window would be selected when there were no items in the bag during the dissolve operation.
- Fixed an issue where the focus and selection directs would move together in the Appearance > Outfits section.


Promotions
[Promo] Masquerade & Bloody Doom
- The 'Masquerade' costume and 'Bloody Doom' weapon cosmetics are now available for night aristocrats with immortal beauty.

Known Issues
The following in-game issues are being reported and we'll do our best to fix them quickly.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Field Bosses
- In some Field Boss events, the boss's HP does not decrease in the notification UI.
- Leviathans are intermittently dying suddenly.
> Leviathans may not drop their rewards when this happens.
Arc Bosses
- The Icicle Clasp placed in the Temple of Deluz Noah intermittently fails to use.
Co-op Dungeons
- [Forest of Grudges] King Kanzaizin's "Thorn Surge" skill is intermittently invisible.
Origin Stones
- The tooltip for the Capture the Origin Stone effect in Conquest of Quistis incorrectly displays "Skill Damage Amplification" as"Skill Damage Increase.
> The effect now correctly reads "Skill Damage Amplification +30".
Siege / Tax Convoys
- When PvP occurs while participating in Sieges and Tax Convoys, the character name is displayed in the kill log.
Fishing
- If you use a defence skill while fishing, you may no longer be able to fish afterwards.
> Unequipping and re-equipping your fishing rod will now allow you to proceed again.
Items
- Fixed an issue where some rune level images were not displayed correctly in chat.
