We are pleased to inform you of our scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, 16 September 2025.
With this maintenance, we're adding a new system 'Housing' and a new weapon 'Magic Sphere'.

Update Notes (2/2) - New Weapon Enchantments, Combat and System Overhauls


Updates include

Added a new weapon, the Magic Sphere.

[Dev Comment]
The Magic Sphere is a tactical weapon that summons up to three spheres to protect allies or impede enemy entry.
The placement and utilisation of the spheres determines the effectiveness of the skill, and can create a variety of combat aspects, from providing shields for allies to overpowering enemies.
Specialising in skill shots and area control, it will provide a different combat experience to existing weapons.
New weapons added
- New weapon enchantments are added.
- Added Energy Balls to the [Arena] match restrictions. Only one Magic Sphere can exist on a team.
- Raid] Added Enchantment Sphere to the Call of the Stars: Light of Life usable weapon.

New equipment
- Added a new weapon, the Magic Ball Equipment item.
- Charm Sphere items can be obtained through various content sources, just like traditional weapons.

The effect chain has been changed to make it impossible to select both
simultaneously, as it is not possible to stack damage on a transferred mark, making it pointless to select both.

- Added a system where weapons equipped receive additional effects based on the armour material worn.
> The armour material (mithril/plate/leather/cloth) you are wearing affects the effect you receive.
> Armour materials that were previously described as iron will now be described as 'sheet metal'.
> Cloaks lose their material and no longer reflect material effects.
> Unique armour is now made of Mithril.
> Each equipped weapon will reflect its own additional effects.
> Additional effects per material can be found in the Skills window.

- Weapon specialisation UX improvements.
> In the Specialisation Level Up pop-up window, display the currently equipped weapon.
> When the remaining specialisation points are low, the Specialisation Level Up pop-up window is displayed with a system message.
> The Weapon Specialisation Guide is always visible in the bottom right corner.

- Added skill passive healing/received skill passive healing stats.
> Affects skills that provide passive healing, such as Healing Touch and Flashing Light on the Longbow.

- Added Bash Damage/Bash Damage Resistance stats.
> Affects bash damage.
- Skill reuse rate stat has been changed to increase up to 120%.
- Buff duration stat has been changed to increase by up to 150%.
- Attack Speed stat has been changed to increase by up to 150%.
- Movement speed has been increased to a maximum of 1250. Additional acceleration can be gained through the feral transformation.

Runes
- Support Rune [Skill Recovery] scaling per level changed from 0.05% to 0.06%.
- Added [Skill Health], [Skill Health received], [Skill Health], [Shield Health], and [Shield Health received] runes to Support runes.

We've added a new PvP content called Battlegrounds.
- You can form a 24-player team with users who have requested to be matched and compete in 24v24 matches.
Battlefield
- New PvP content 'Battlegrounds' has been added.
> Battlegrounds is a 24-player team of matchmade users who compete in 24v24 matches.
> Battlegrounds are available from '18:00 to 01:00 the next day'.
You can enter the application page by selecting Battlefield from the > menu.

- When applying for a Battlegrounds match, players can choose between 'Normal' and 'Ranked'.
> You can apply as an individual or as a party of 1-6 players, but Ranked Play is only available for parties of 6 players.
> Only regular matches are available for the preseason, and ranked matches will be available at a later date after the preseason ends.
> There is a limit to the amount of combat power you can apply for in both regular and ranked matches.

- When you register for a match, you'll need to choose the role you want to play.
> Each role has a set of weapons that it can and cannot use.
> Once you've registered for a match, you can't change to a weapon that doesn't match your role until you complete the Battlegrounds content.
Example.) A character with the Tank role selected cannot change a weapon from the Longsword category to a weapon from another category.

- In a party state, only the party leader can register for a match, and party members must select the role they want to play within the time limit.
> Within a party, there is a maximum number of people for each role.
> If a party member fails to select a role within the time limit, the match is cancelled.

- Once you've registered for matching, we'll start matching you with users of similar skill sets.
> If no matches are made after a period of time, it will also try to match with higher or lower users.
- If the match is successful, the Accept Entry button is exposed to all players.
> If one of the users does not click the Accept button, the match is cancelled and the match is retried.
> Characters who do not press Accept after a successful match will receive a match penalty.
> The matching penalty count accumulates for one week and is reset each week.
> The reset time is every Tuesday at 10:00 am KST.

> There is a limit to the maximum amount of Battlegrounds Coins you can earn in a week, and a limit to the number of Victory Rewards you can earn in a week.
> The amount of Battlegrounds Coins and Victory Rewards you can earn in a week is limited regardless of whether you're playing Ranked or Standard.
- Characters who leave the battlefield or do nothing on the battlefield before the game ends will be penalised.

Battlegrounds: Conquest - City of Giants
- A new Battlegrounds mode, Conquest, is added.
- The City of Giants is a Conquest battleground where two teams battle for five control points.
- Conquest is a mode where the first team to reach the target score within the time limit, or the team with the higher score when time runs out, wins.
- Golems on the battlefield can be manipulated and handled by the player, as they can change the outcome of a battle.

> In Conquest, players earn individual and team points based on their actions.
> Different types of behaviour earn different points.
> Capturing a province applies a multiplier to the points earned, with each province having a different multiplier.

Abyssal stone
- Added a new Capture the Flag map: Abyssstone Capture the Flag.

> Abyssal Capture is a content that allows players to capture Abyssal Stones 24/7 without declaring.
> Abyssal Stones are located in each province's Abyssal Dungeon and grant teleportation, resources, and control effects when captured.
> You can place a protection buff on an Abyssal to temporarily protect it from capture by other guilds, and if you abandon an occupied Abyssal, it will temporarily become unoccupiable.
- Added Set Occupation Stone effect.
> If a friendly guild is occupying a Set Capturing Stone, the resource yield of the Capturing Stone is increased.

> Legion spawn locations have changed.
> There is now a new pathway into the castle from the relocated Legion spawn.
> Moved the location of the side door to the Resilient Spawn to be near the Resilient Loot.
> Resilient spawn area is now larger.
> Added a castle side door to enter a castle from a resistant spawn.

- Asexual
> The space inside the subcastle is now larger.
> As the space has expanded, the locations of the castle entrances have changed.
> The length of the subcastle centre entrance has been shortened.

- Usurper
> New: When transformed into a usurper, you can now block the entrance to a castle.
> You can block the entrance by manipulating the magic sphere installed at each castle entrance.
> This ability can only be used once during the Usurper transformation, and blocks the entrance for 1 minute.


Added a new system 'Achievements'.

> As you hunt, explore, and grow, you'll see and achieve a variety of goals.
> Earn achievement points and rewards for earning achievements, and display achievement points on your business card.


System and content initialisation times change.
- Wednesday 06:00 reset changes to Tuesday 10:00 reset.
- For speciality store products, the initialisation time varies depending on the payable good.

Some usability improvements and UI enhancements.
- Improves main menu perception.
- We're adding a 'Solsium Bulletin Board' so you don't miss any updates.
- We're adding features to support convenience, such as enrolling Guild Skills in Quick Slots.
- Other conveniences and improvements.

Main menu
- The main menu UI has been improved to allow you to see more menus at once.
- Each item in the main menu now requires a codex or level condition associated with it to be met in order to use the feature.
- Changed to allow navigation between categories in the main menu.
> Main menu editing is only available in the 'keyboard + mouse' control environment

Solicium Bulletin Board
- Added a "Solsium Bulletin Board" for in-game updates

> We'll keep you up to speed on any major updates that you may not have seen externally via the Solicium Bulletin Board.
Increasing or decreasing combat power
- You can see the numbers in specific locations on the HUD when combat power rises or falls.
> HUD editing is not supported.
Guild Skill Quick Slots
- Guild skills can now be enrolled in Quick Slots.
> Guild Leaders and Staff Officers can add Guild Skills to Quickslot via the Guild UI.
> Only one skill can be registered in a Guild Skill Quickslot.
> Guild Skill Quickslots are not available when participating in Raids.

Attributes UI
- The Talent UI has been reorganised and separated from the existing Equipment Enhancements window into a separate Talent window.

- You can enter the Attributes UI from the main menu or from the context menu of an equipment item.

■ Gateway to Infinity
- If a reward is available at the end of a cycle, the reward is now displayed immediately when the Gateway to Infinity window is opened.

Chronology
- The Chronology, previously available in the main menu, has been changed to be available on the Chronology Slabs placed in each base.

Tax status
- The 'Tax Status', which was previously available in the main menu, has been changed to be available in the 'Map'.
Content alerts
- Improved 'Content Alerts' to also display in 'Gateway to Infinity' and 'Tower of Tydal'.

Item context menu
- Removed Dissolve and Destroy from the context menu available in item tooltips.
> Dissolve and Destroy buttons at the bottom of the bag.
Title colour
- The colour of the title is retained regardless of the player's affiliation (party, guild, raid, etc.).
Chat UI improvements
- The chat title bar has been removed, and the chat menus that used to be located in the title bar have been consolidated into a single button.

- Added 'Chat UI change mode'.
> Changed the chat UI size and input bar position to only be available when in 'Chat UI change mode'.
> You can also change the viewer size and position in 'Chat UI Change Mode'.

- Other general improvements to chat UI transparency.

Exchange
- New: Added Enchantment Sphere to the Weapons tab.
- Added the Magic Sphere Tablet to the Weapon Tablet tab.
- Added the Earring Tablet to the Jewellery Tablet tab.
Production
- Equipment/Skillbook Crafting NPCs
> Added the Sundries tab.
> Moved miscellaneous items that were previously in the Weapons, Armour, and Trinkets tabs, such as materials, skill cores, and tablets, to the Miscellaneous tab.

- Solia
> Added weapon recipes that can only be crafted from Wandering Crafting NPCs

- Solia / Crafting Recipes
> Moved the Weapon Materials, Armour Materials, Jewellery Materials, Skillbook Materials, Skill Cores, and Tablet Books from the Sundries tab to allow you to create or view them.

Battlegrounds
- The content has been renamed to 'Mock Battlefield'.
Material transformation
- Improved the rating filter, which used to reset every time you entered the UI, to save the last selected rating


We've tweaked the play experience of some content.
- We've eased system limitations and changed other play settings.

Teleportation
- Removed restrictions on moving from one map (space) to another, except for the Arena.
Arena
- The Arena Pre-Season 6v6 mode ends, and the regular 4-season 3v3 mode begins.
Capture the Flag
- Changed so that Origin Stones, Dimension Stones, and Abyssal Stones cannot be relinquished while engaging with InterServer content.
Abyssal Dungeons
- Removed environmental entry requirements from levels 1-6 of Rathlan Sileus' Abyss and the Stoneguard Sanctum of Desire so that they are always accessible.

Open features
- The following content, which was previously available at level 50, has been changed to be available after completing Act 10 of the Adventure Codex.
> Gateway to Infinity, Arena, Challenge Arena, Battlegrounds, Weekly Missions, Equipment Integration, Workshop
- The content below, which was previously available at level 55, has been changed to start when you progress through the Abduction Codex.
> Battlegrounds - Nebula Island, Special Dungeon - Illusion Corridor

Character
- Level 1 characters can be deleted immediately with no waiting period.
- While playing Whisp Island, [Select Character] and [End Game] will be deleted immediately with no waiting period.
Shield Skills
- Changes to allow multiple stacks of different shield effects to be applied at the same time.
- When more than one shield is applied, the following shield subtraction priorities apply
> Raid Skills > Guardian > Integrated Specialisations > Items > PC Skills (Allies) > PC Skills (Self)
> If they are of equal priority, the shield with the shorter remaining time will be subtracted.
- Shield effects are changed so that they are not affected by bashing hits.
Period trite
- Increased the number of divine crystals that fall from Giganthrite's wings.
Field Boss
- After completing the Chronicle [Changes and Challenges] [Mineralisation], the Field Boss for Raslan, Stoneguard will change to the Mineral Field Boss.
> Berserk Field Bosses are added to Guild Raids.

Calanthian Raids
- We've made some changes to the pattern of Zone 1 Dragail extreme difficulty.
> Fixed the Illusionary Dragail and Lightning Summoner to disappear after a successful Stone Colour Matching pattern.
Exploration
- Revised the number and location of various devices to improve the difficulty and experience of [Stoneguard], [Akidu Gorge], and [Carve a Path].
Fields
- Caelum's location on the shore of Rathlan Windswept has been changed to near the Teleportation Seat.
- Additional large stone crabs appear in the water near the spiral cliffs off the coast of Raslan Windfall.
- Changed the Stoneguard Moonlight Desert Armadillo to a Non-Pilot.
- Despair Zombies and Plague Zombies in Turane Ruins have been changed from non-combatant to combatant monsters.
- Plague Zombies, Despair Zombies, and Sloth Zombies have increased their movement speed in Turane Ruins.


Changed character movement to improve the player experience.

Fall protection
- Improved user experience by implementing that falling to the ground without gliding will not kill your character.
- After a fall, your remaining health will never drop below 10% of your maximum health.
- Applies to the following two regions
> Safe zones, peace zones, such as villages
- Falling from a very high place can kill your character.
- [Caution] Falling to your death is still possible in PVP-enabled areas and instance areas.
Landing effect reactivity
- Improved responsiveness by making effects and sounds play immediately, rather than delayed, when you land on the floor.
Reduce jamming
- Fixed randomly getting stuck between NPCs and structures in towns.
- Mitigated an issue where some terrain would keep teleporting you back to your original position if you tried to keep moving.


We've made technical optimisations to improve the player experience.

Optimised control of skill effects
- Improved skill effect control code to improve frame rate when there are many skill effects cast by other characters.
- Staff skills are especially improved, and other weapon skills are also improved somewhat.
Improved Abyssal Dungeon frame rate
- Playing in multi-level abyssal dungeons, such as the Crimson Mansion, Temple of Truth, and Sileus' Abyss, will see some frame rate improvements.
> Simplified or removed calculations for monsters that are close but on different floors.
- Additionally, we've fixed the lag that was often experienced on the 5th floor entry to the Abyss of Sileus.

Improved UI lag
- Improved lag when opening the exchange.
- Fixed a lag that sometimes occurred when opening a chance payout box.
- Improved lag that was sometimes experienced when clicking 'View Drop' for an item.
Display detailed game access steps
- When you start a game or move between worlds, you'll see the connection details in the top right corner of the screen.

> Overall, we've checked and fixed an issue that could cause the camera to look awkward when talking to NPCs.
> Fixed an issue where chatting with NPCs could cause the chat window to overprint their dialogue.
> Fixed an issue where automated conversations with NPCs would not advance to the next line of dialogue for an excessive amount of time after voice output ended.
> Act 1. Fixed an issue in The Tragedy of the Kursleys where some NPCs had incorrect voices and mouth shapes.
> Act 2. Fixed an issue where the description of the skill progression sheet was incorrectly displayed in The Last of the Grey Fangs > [Appendix ▶ How to Grow Skills].
> Act 2. Fixed an issue with the mission description in The Last of the Grey Fangs > [Tournament President Chris].
> Act 4. The Three Musketeers of the Black Forest > [Rescue Operation] Fixed an issue where it was sometimes impossible to talk to Da Vinci Aaron after the battle with Jaros.

> Act 5. Fixed an issue where there could be two Romeas in the town of Vienta during Holy Blood Oath.
> Act 7. Fixed an issue during Master of the Sandstorm > [Enchantment Source for Lure] where the HP of Sandworm Hatchlings was set awkwardly.

- Skill Quickslot window - Fixed an issue where the duration within the registered skill icon was not displayed.
- Fixed an issue where server movement would fail for 1 second after consuming dinner/formal food.
- Fixed an issue where non-contributing users would interact with the reward chest when clearing a raid dungeon.
- Fixed cooldowns in item slots in bags appearing to be different than they actually are in certain situations when using cooking.
- Fixed an issue where the message would be printed incorrectly when an exchange item was locked.
