Throne and Liberty [Notice] Update notes from Wednesday, 5 November
Hello, this is THRONE AND LIBERTY.
We are pleased to inform you of our scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, 5 November 2025.
This update is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 5 November from 04:30 to 09:30 due to server stabilisation work.
Updates include
Weapon-specific skills have been rebalanced.
- Damage stacking, shield stacking, etc. have been adjusted to prevent them from being applied to excessive levels.
- Fixed errors with some equipment and skills.
[Dev Comment] After the addition of the orbs, Mark of Mortality and Mark of Detonation combined with the new weapon created a much stronger synergy than intended, We've identified a situation where this is significantly upsetting the balance of combat with other classes. When combined with an Orb due to the fact that "marking it will take an unlimited portion of its subsequent damage." The explosive momentary damage was increasing too much, creating a disparity that was shaking up the entire combat cycle. Structures and marker families that required other skills to accumulate damage through direct input and timing management were providing excessive rewards without any additional risk, If left unchecked, this gap would inevitably lead to other classes being bumped up en masse, or to some other structure-shaking action. That said, this adjustment was a necessary decision to keep the class balanced across the board. As a result, the two Marked Skills will be adjusted to have appropriate limits to prevent excessive cumulative damage. This corrects situations where only certain skill combinations have an unusually high value, This is to ensure that the combat cycle is a fair and understandable structure for all classes. We will continue to periodically monitor for unexpected synergies between new weapons and existing systems, We'll do this responsibly so that we don't end up with a situation where certain classes dominate. |
