Throne & Liberty's epic battles are now more freeform
!
Previously, large-scale battles have been difficult to participate in due to various conditions and restrictions, but not in the new custom game mode, Battlegrounds.

In Battlegrounds, you can fight other players whenever you want, however you want, without server restrictions, and enjoy stress-free battles.
If you're pressed for time or fail to capture a control point, that's okay - you're free to jump into Battlegrounds at any time for a thrilling fight.

At launch, the Battlegrounds will support Origin Stones from Rathlan, Stoneguard, and Dimension Stones, with more content to follow.

The Battlegrounds are currently available for guilds or groups to practice battles, and as such, we are intentionally not offering any rewards.

We will continue to improve and develop new battle content.

Battlegrounds
- We've added Battlegrounds, where you can play Origin Stone and Dimension Stone content with other players.
- Battlegrounds is a mode where you can create a room by selecting the content you want to play, and gather with people from different servers to play team-based content.
> You can start Battlegrounds through [Main Menu - Battlegrounds], and you can create your own room or enter a room created by others to play.

- Creating a game
> When creating a new game, you can set the content and player composition.
A game can have up to four teams with a maximum of 30 players per team.
The number of people per game cannot exceed 200, and people who are not part of a team can join the game as spectators.
> The room settings can be changed at any time before the game starts.
- Waiting Rooms
> In a waiting room, the room captain who created the room can form teams.
> A team must have a minimum of one team captain and three defenders.
> You can move the team by 'dragging' the characters in the game, or select them by 'right-clicking'.
The Captain cannot be a Team Leader or a Guardian.
> People who are not part of a team can watch the game as spectators.
Spectators are invisible to others and cannot interact with objects other than the grappling hook.
- Progress and Finish
> Once teams are formed, all characters in the room will automatically enter the game.
> The game will begin after a five-minute precursor after entry.
> The rules of the game are the same as the previous 'Capture the Origin Stone' and 'Capture the Dimension Stone', but the duration of the game will vary depending on the room settings.
Kills and Assists that occur during 'Battlegrounds' will not be reflected in your 'Kill Record' and 'Ranking'.
> Notifications during the game You can check the game status by using the 'Game Status' icon or pressing 'Ctrl + M'.
> When the game ends, you will be teleported back to the location you entered before the Battlegrounds game.
> There are no rewards for winning or losing in Battlegrounds games.
The Void Wastes and Tragic Mansions are the next level of challenge.

Some systems will be improved and changed.
Chat
- Improved the ability to separate the chat history and chat input UI in the chat window.
> The ability to separate the chat input UI only from the chat window and place it elsewhere.
> This feature is not supported on gamepads.
- Improved the ability to turn on player chat from any chat tab.
- Changed the 'Channel Icon' and 'Chat Colour' in the Party Finder tab.
- Improved party viewer so that if you leave a party while it's open, the party window stays open.
Parties
- Party Matching] The number of people in a party that can be randomly matched has been increased from 2 to 4.
- Party Boards] Improved so that you can no longer reapply to party recruitment posts posted by a party you've been kicked from.
Items
- The following items have been renamed.
> Changed from "Rare Rune Selection Box" to "Rare Rune Family Selection Box".


Fixes

Fixed content errors
- Fixed an issue in the Forest of Grudges and Challenge Tier where players would intermittently not be hit by King Kanzaizin's "Ground Slam" skill even if they were within its damage area.
- Fixed an issue where the World Map monster information would only partially display the dropable items for Deluz Noah and Giant Brook.
- Fixed an issue where Queen Blandy would not appear in the regional event [Desert Caravan].
- Fixed an issue with the 'Frostflower' pickup appearing in the Quetis Conquest Interserver BC [Frost Storm Seals].
- Fixed an issue where the icon for the crafting NPC in Herba Village would disappear from the map and minimap during a siege.
System bug fixes
- Fixed incorrectly applied attributes for Nebula Island trinkets.
> Necklace and Ring's Ailment Immunity effect has been changed to a hit effect.
> The Bracelet and Belt's Ailment Hit effect has been changed to an Immunity effect.
- Content Alerts] When selecting a codex in 'Content Alerts' that does not specify a progression location, the next target location is now displayed.
- Map] Fixed duplicate display of the golden rule when changing the pin name if it contains a golden rule.
- Map] Fixed incorrect event vendor icons being displayed on the map.
- Title] Fixed a bug where the title would be set to 'Beginner in Solissium' when connecting to the world.
> > Maintenance] When you first connect to the world, your title may be set to Newbie, but this should not occur after you change it to your desired title.
- Regional Events] Fixed an issue where characters on the same team as you would sometimes be displayed as the team name instead of your name when participating in Regional Events - Faction Battles.
- [Challenges] Fixed a bug where the S1 "Ranking Reward" for Challenges would not be awarded.
> You can now receive your S1 Ranking Reward by opening the Challenge Dynasty window in the mail, or it will be delivered to you by mail.
- [Challenge] Season information and ranking information were incorrectly displayed in the unreceived 'Score Achievement Reward' mail at the end of the season.
> Mail sent after the end of Challenge S1 will not be changed.
- Siege] Fixed an issue where Legion and Legion's friendly guilds could "teleport" to the spawn area while in a precursor state.
- Siege, Tax Collector] Fixed a bug where anonymised costumes would sometimes display different colours depending on preferences and camera distance.
- Party Management] Fixed an issue where it was sometimes not possible to close the Party Management window when returning home with the window open.
- Chat] Fixed a bug where chat messages would not be printed correctly when crafting an item that was already in your Bag.
- Chat] Fixed an issue where players would not be able to chat immediately after leaving and rejoining a guild or party while using the 'Party' or 'Guild' tab.
- Knights of the Deep] Fixed an issue where Knights of the Deep would appear to be standing still in co-operative dungeons.
- Knights of the Deep] Fixed an issue where Knights of the Deep would appear to be standing still underwater.
- Preferences] Fixed the main menu covering open windows when changing screen mode and resolution.
Other
- Fixed an issue where stat changes associated with equipment, such as weapon proficiency and passive skills, were not properly reflected in the UI when changing equipment/stat presets.
> Actual stats are now reflected correctly.
- Fixed an issue where the Stellar Boom equip icon would be displayed when changing equipment presets after equipping the Stellar Boom.

- The 'Happy Bunny Package' and 'Happy Bunny Carrot' weapon cosmetics are now available for sale.


Known Issues
Co-operative Dungeons
- An animation may be displayed incorrectly when clearing a crash condition.
Photo Mode
- After taking a photo in Photo Mode, the image may not be saved.
Bosses
- During battles with Brother Manticus, Akman sometimes does not die.
Battlegrounds
- When creating a random Capture the Flagstone game, it is possible to interact with the Portal Stone Capture Stone in the hunting grounds.
- When creating a random Portal Capture the Flagstone game, it was possible to interact with the Portal Capture the Flagstone in that hunting ground.
- Players could sometimes leave a game as a spectator and not be able to re-enter afterwards.
