What's in the update

Adjusted some skills and talents that affect combat.
- Increased the maximum health of some boss monsters.
- Some skills have been rebalanced and their effects have been fixed.

- Longsword
: Removed "Swap skills when active" from the description of the [Chain Hook] skill's [Wrathful Attack] and [Rear Hook] talents.
: Fixed an issue with the [Whirlwind Shield] perk on the [Shield Throw] skill that prevented the knockback effect from triggering if the target dies.
: Renamed the [Sanctuary of Fury] perk for the [Ironclad] skill to [Frenzy].
: [Iron Fortress] skill's [Massive Outburst] perk has been renamed to [Focused Effect].
> Fixed an issue with the skill range display for the [Focus Effect] perk.
: Fixed an issue where the [Continuous Use] perk for [Resilient Strike] was unavailable.
: Added a new [Increase All Defences] perk to the [Undying Pride] skill.

: Fixed an issue where the [Mark of the Maw] skill would not apply its cooldown reduction to other players.
: If you started casting [Conversion Snipe], [Conversion Bombardment], or [Blinding Light] before the [Breakthrough] perk on [Rapid Fire] ended, the [Breakthrough] effect will still be applied to the skills you were already casting after the effect ended.
: Skills that cannot reset their cooldowns with [Rapid Fire] have been changed.
> The [Rapid Fire] skill will no longer reset the cooldowns of the Longsword's [Undying Pride] skill, the Two-Handed Sword's [Superslash] skill, the Staff's [Frost Smoke Screen], [Judgement Lightning], Longbow's [Barrage], and Maelstrom Arrow skills. This also applies to skills that have been changed to a specialisation.

Adventure Codex
- Completing "Lancid Powder Ingredients" in [Act 1: The Tragedy of Kuslegar] will now grant an additional "Camouflage Transformation: Scarab.
> Reward changes: [Exploration Codex] 'Golden Rye Farm - Peaceful Rye Fields' reward will be changed to '100 World Tree Leaves'.
Kills
- The 'Kills/Assists' record display has been expanded during content engagement.

Arena
- When a match is interrupted due to maintenance, the match in progress will now be invalidated.
Guild Capture the Flag
- The interaction time to start a Capture the Origin Stone/Capture the Dimension Stone skirmish has been changed from 5 seconds to 7 seconds.
Dissolving
- Dissolving 'Superior Magic Dust' will now grant 5 'Magic Dust'.
- Rare Omnipotent Parchment will now grant Rare Parchment when dissolved.
The following changes will be made at the next maintenance on 7 August 2024 (Wednesday), not this week.
Advance notice of death penalty changes
- The way you respawn after death will change after next week's maintenance.
The following changes will be made to the way you respawn after dying: : Experience will be lost when you die, and the "experience imbalance" effect will be removed.
: If you die in a PvP-enabled space, the default respawn wait time will be applied.
: If you accumulate a large number of deaths, your respawn cooldown will increase.
- Existing accumulated 'recovery queues' will be removed and experience will be restored based on the amount of recovery.
System and UI usability improvements.
Preferences
- Preferences > Gameplay > Camera > Camera Rotation > Rotation Sensitivity has been changed from 0-200 to 0-300.
Amitoi Expedition
- The Amiibo Expedition status pop-up on the left side of the minimap will now include a list of expected rewards and a button to enter the Amiibo House.
Shop
- The product placement has been changed so that the 'Bamboo Fishing Rod' and 'Fishing Lure Box (50 pieces)' are now at the top of the list in the Requested Coins Shop.

- Changed the stacking quantity for Rare Parchment to 1,000.
- The icon image for the Humble Necklace item will be replaced.
- The following Rune Boxes will no longer be automatically used upon acquisition and will be stored in your bag.
Rune Chests obtained as a reward for "Achievement Rewards" in Challenging Challenges will still be automatically used.

- Fixed fire animations turning off after a certain amount of time after lighting the cooking pit.

Known Issues

Text error
- The [Peace] type reward from [Regional Event > Lanternseed Festival] is sometimes displayed in the item drop zone.
- "Spectral Spiked Bow" > Tomb of the Dead Effect
: Added a "gust of wind" effect when attacking, but the tooltip was missing this information.
Battle Errors
- When using the 'Gather' skill while in feral transformation, the transformation is dismissed and a message is displayed stating that it cannot be used at this time.
- Crossbow.
: The detrimental effect of [Explosive Trap] is now outputting less than it should.
- Longbow
: [Frenzied Arrow] : Gust area is missing damage values.
> Deals 40% of base damage every 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds.
Special Shop Stash
- TL Shop (Web/Specialised Shop): There is an error in the 'Storage' section of the TL Shop that does not display the cancellation period.
> After purchasing, receiving/refunding, etc. works normally, but the text of 'Withdrawal period' is not displayed.
Probability display
- In-game, when you click [Rune Management Window > View Probability Information Page] or [Amitoi Expedition > View Probability Information Page], the probability information is intermittently not displayed correctly.
