All Free Swim Morphs in Throne & Liberty, and How to Unlock Them
Welcome to our guide about how to unlock all free Swim Morphs in Throne & Liberty.
Throne & Liberty has many Swim Morphs available. This is the animal your character transforms into while swimming. An important aspect of character customisation, you can acquire many Swim Morphs besides the one you start with. However, many of them are only available by purchasing them in the store, or via another paid system like the Battle Pass. This guide will list all of the Swim Morphs that can be obtained without paying any real money, and explain how to unlock them.

Roving Lutrang
Lutrangs live in the Trutizan region. Once believed to be necessary sacrifices in rituals for divining the future, they nearly went extinct. The unfortunate mistake likely arose from observing how easily Lutrangs shook off pursuing predators with near-supernatural speed, thus making it seem like they could see the future. In reality, they can escape so easily because their sleek bodies allow them to glide quickly through the waves as they swim.

The Roving Lutrang is your starting Swim Morph in Throne and Liberty, meaning you start the game with it unlocked and equipped.
Russet Lutrang
The Russet Lutrang has a reddish fur coat, and two small antlers.

To unlock the Russet Lutrang, complete the third objective of the A Sailor's Letter quest in the Windhill Shores Exploration Codex:
- Read the Letter in a bottle near the wreck under Spiral Cliff
- Find the Stranded Sailor who wrote this letter by boarding the Marind that regularly docks at Kastleton Port or by swimming
- Read the letter near the Stranded Sailor
White Lutrang
The white Lutrang has a white and grey fur coat with a blue stripe on its back and a singular horn on its head.

To unlock the White Lutrang, you need to rescue 6 Kidnapped Sailors in Tyrant's Isle. This is part of the Jungle Ecosystem quest in the Tyrant's Isle Exploration Codex.
Frost Lutrang
The Frost Lutrang has blue and white fur, a long growth of white fur on its head that trails behind it, and has a silver adornment on its back.

There is a chance to unlock the Frost Lutrang when you defeat the Tevent Archboss near Ruins of Turayne.
Opal Dracoryft Turtle
Dracoryft Turtles have a dragon-like appearance and were first spotted in the Deacoryft region. They have a solid shell that can withstand heavy impacts. Higher tiers of this species can glow increasingly brighter. They can swim in lava, making them a Mystic Beast with no natural predators. They are extremely difficult to capture.
The Opal Dracoryft Turtle has a blue shell that is partially overgrown with green algae.
Equipping any Dracoryft Turtle as your Swim Morph makes you immune to damage over time from lava areas.

To unlock the Opal Dracoryft Turtle, collect a page from Collection: Expedition Records: Syleus's Abyss 5F-6F. This objective is a part of the Miserable Record of Despair quest in the Syleus' Abyss 5F-6F Exploration Codex.
Geode Dracoryft Turtle
This version of the Dracoryft Tutle has large purple crystal geodes on its shell, and purple eyes. The geodes and some other parts of its body emit a purple glow.
Equipping any Dracoryft Turtle as your Swim Morph makes you immune to damage over time from lava areas.

You have a chance to unlock the Geode Dracoryft Turtle when you defeat the Nirma boss in Syleus' Abyss 6F. This is a Level 50 boss.
Fairy Merlapin
A mysterious animal that is said to be shy and usually invisible, blending into its surroundings.

The Fairy Merlapin can be purchased for 1,500 Ornate Coins from the Shop. Ornate Coins can be aquired by collecting books and notes, and are regularly handed out as compensation for server downtime (check your in-game Mail).
