Is Bonus Damage Worth It in Throne & Liberty?

If you've played Throne & Liberty for a few hours, you've probably come across equipment items that grant you a stat called Bonus Damage. You might have wondered how this stat works, and if it's worth using on your build. In this guide, we will answer these questions. 

One of the most notable ways players get Bonus Damage is by equipping the Ghost Wolf set, which has the following items in it:

Wearing two or more items from the set will increase your Bonus Damage stat. 

Bonus Damage simply adds a flat value onto the final damage output of every attack you do in Throne & Liberty. No matter how big or small the base damage of the skill is, the Bonus Damage added to it will always be exactly the same as your Bonus Damage stat. 

It's important not to confuse Bonus Damage with Skill Damage Boost, a different stat that provides a multiplicative damage bonus. 

Now that we know what the stat does, we can assess who it might be useful for. 

Your Bonus Damage stat is always going to be quite small, and since the Bonus Damage value remains the same, attacks that have a low base damage will see a proportionally larger boost from this stat. 

The only weapon that works well with the Bonus Damage stat is the Crossbow, because it is characterised by relatively weak attacks that are dished out rapidly, allowing you to apply your Bonus Damage much more often than other weapons. 

In short, if you're using the Crossbow as your primary weapon, then it's worth building into Bonus Damage. Everyone else is generally better off using other offensive stats to boost their damage.
