The Wyvern, a type of Draconus, is often called a dragon in this era where true dragons have disappeared. It is easy to understand the mistake. The Wyverns cast an enormous shadow when they cut through the sky, have breath that can melt almost anything, and are not easily shaken by external impacts—all features that are reminiscent of the lost dragons' majesty.

The scarabs native to the Laslan Golden Rye Pastures mutated into giants after being exposed to the cursed rain. They retaliate fiercely when attacked and are covered with a hard shell. They charge their prey with their large horns, which are also valued for their medicinal properties.
