Once a great noble's jester, Charlie escaped to a forgotten room in the castle's basement when he was beaten by his master after he returned in defeat from a battle. After finding a portrait of a knight covered by a dusty cloth (perhaps the noble's ancestor), Charlie mocked the figure by pretending to be a knight, but was shocked out of his mind once he heard a sound coming from the portrait. When the portrait promised to make him into a great knight if Charlie shared his blood with the figure, Charlie smeared his blood on the portrait, and came to possess both the appearance and power of the knight.

A member of the ogre clan that lives in the Forest of the Great Tree. Despite their rough appearance, they like small and pretty things and often prey on the souls of elves attracted to the Great Sage Tree. This ogre gets so distracted by sparkling souls that they sometimes scratch or even lose their eyes to sharp branches, though that doesn't stop them. When Wolpertingers attempt to defend the wandering elven souls, this ogre swings huge clubs to keep them from getting closer.

Sheep come from northern Solisium and Trutizan and have long been raised as livestock for its warm fleece. Sheep from colder plateau regions tend to have increasingly thicker coats. They are mainly raised as grazing animals and are allowed to roam vast fields. Cooperation between a shepherd and their sheepdogs is essential in order to protect these animals from predators.
