A variety of scarab that lives in the Sandworm Lair and transports the sandworms' eggs and larvae. They are covered with spiky shells, and their sharp horns can lift things that are a dozen times heavier than themselves.

Hermit Crabs are well known for their creepy human skull like body shape. Some travelers even avoid the Daybreak Shore, just so they won't run into these crabs. People will sometimes pick fights with these crabs as a test of courage.
