The Firebirds are Mystic Beasts of unknown origin. The top sub-type of this species is said to be immortal. They possess brilliantly burning tails and wings, as well as a mysterious power to increase Health and Mana while flying in the sky.

Lord Mason of the Trutizan Mountains fought bravely against the Arkeum's invasion, but he was ultimately defeated, suffering severe injuries in the process. Enraged, Kazar ordered his forces to find and kill Lord Mason and his entire family. Only his young daughter Stheno managed to escape. She and several of her father's faithful servants made their way into the Eldrin Forest. Unfortunately, they were all hunted down by the forest-dwelling Eldrin clan, who despised humans on principle. Stheno alone was spared by Elowen, the guard captain of the forest. Stheno managed to make her way to a road, but ultimately fainted from starvation where she was found by a shaman named Marcos from the Sylavean Order.

The Black Anvil Dwarves, with their sturdy statures, have the strength to rival any other race, but are vulnerable to magical attacks and defenses due to their innate lack of magical power. To make up for these shortcomings, the great chieftain Pakilo Naru made a staff out of obsidian, the main mineral of the Black Anvil. Thus, the Black Anvil Dwarf Wizard was born, a foe that is both physically strong and skilled with magic. However, due to their short history of magic research, the types of magic that can be used are still limited.
