Because they are so hard to research, the actual number of Merlapins in the wild is difficult to determine. Truly, much about these beasts remain shrouded in mystery.

However, as soon as people discovered how fun it was to dance in, it became all the rage on the dance floor instead. Now, much to the dismay of its creator, the form is better known for being groovy than scary.
