Merlapins are Mystic Beasts known for being shy. This is because they usually blend in with their surrounding environment, making them invisible save for brief periods while moving. Because they are so hard to research, the actual number of Merlapins in the wild is difficult to determine. Truly, much about these beasts remain shrouded in mystery.

Purpumas are said to be native to the black forests of Trutizan. These nocturnal creatures are transparent at night, making them perfect ambushers. Like other predators, Purpumas are feared for their agility. A typical Purpuma's entire body is black, and as it grows stronger, it gains a fierce violet aura. They live a solitary life in the deep forest and mainly hunt herbivores.

Sporting robust legs and bodies covered in red feathers, Thick-Billed Terror Birds stare down opponents with their sharp eyes and use their large, broad beaks to stun and bite them. They are also known as Hammerhead Terror Birds because of this ability to stun targets. They earned nother nickname, Hellbound Terror Bird, because they never let go until whatever poor creature they have locked inside their jaws is dead.
