The most formidable sub-types of this species have horns or manes and live in the deepest parts of the forest. For sustinence, they are known to hunt fish and mountain animals.
The Gryphon is a Mystic Beast with four clawed legs and big, strong wings that lives in the rugged highlands of Talandre. Legend has it that it's the gatekeeper of the expanse, the towering mountains at the command of the wind god, Ventius.
