A nocturnal beast native to the cold climate of Nix. At night, their powerful muscles become even stronger and more agile. Their coat colors vary between the sub-types, with the Ghost Taion, in particular, characterized by its blue color and sharp horns. In ancient times, they also lived in Solisium before humans settled there.

Back before the Resistance existed, the only way to escape from the tyranny of a lord was to wander aimlessly or become a bandit. Even today, the brawlers of the Sandflame Bandits value their legacy of improvisation, thinking nothing of using torches, chair legs, or anything else they can find as a club.
Ursa are said to have originated from the White Forest in the north of Trutizan. Various patterns of light are engraved on their bodies depending on their size and strength. When running, these patterns give off an aura of light that overwhelms surrounding animals. The most formidable sub-types of this species have horns or manes and live in the deepest parts of the forest. For sustinence, they are known to hunt fish and mountain animals.
