The magical ritual of the Fonos orcs, the Festival of Fire, greatly amplifies their aggression. As a result, travelers passing through here were frequently killed by the orcs.

Saddened by the deaths, Lord Hobs build the Laslan Watcher's Post on a hill overlooking the orc villages in order to prevent future loss of life.
