In this quick guide, we will explain the different methods you can use to obtain lots of Salt in Throne & Liberty.

Below are the best methods we've found for obtaining Salt in Throne & Liberty.

Windhill Shores is one of the first areas you discover in Throne & Liberty. It is found just to the south-east of Kastleton. 

In Windhill Shores, you will find lots of giant crustacean enemies, namely the Large Stone Crab, Chestacean, Megalobster and Hermit Lobster. Each time you kill one of these creatures, there is a chance that they will drop Salt. 

The enemies at this level are between 4 and 7, so you should have an easy time farming them. 

Rather than farming the Salt yourself, you can send Amitois to find Salt for you, using the Amitoi Expedition system. Send your Amitois to coastal regions like Windhill Shores. For the best results, use Amitois like Vagabond Percy who are well-suited to coastal regions. 

It's much more efficient to send your Amitois on short one or two-hour Expeditions. Four and Eight-hour Expeditions don't give you any more Salt than the shorter ones, so you'll actually get less Salt from them due to the longer Expedition time. We aren't sure if this is intended or a bug or oversight by the developers, but in any case that's how it works right now. 

The four-hour expedition is only worth doing if you're about to log off for a few hours. The eight-hour expedition gives less Salt than the four-hour one, so there's no reason to use it if your main goal is to obtain Salt. 

Progressing your Battle Pass in Throne & Liberty will sometimes reward you with Star Crystals. This currency can be spent in the Battle Pass Shop to unlock various rewards. 

One of the things you can buy in the Battle Pass Shop is Salt. It costs 5 Star Crystals for a stack of 10 Salt, which allows you to get a lot of Salt. The downside of this method is that it stops you from spending the Star Crystals - a finite resource - on other items, such as cosmetics. 

It's up to you if you want to use this method or not. It will make it much easier to obtain Salt, especially if you don't have much time to play the game and farm Salt, but it's not for everyone.
