Because they are so hard to research, the actual number of Merlapins in the wild is difficult to determine. Truly, much about these beasts remain shrouded in mystery.

Each spring, the Young Mage Academy in Venelux holds a Limong Festival that features various events. The main competitions include jumping and rolling races. Residents of the nearby village gather to watch these races, and they have become a central element of the festival.
Purpumas are said to be native to the black forests of Trutizan. These nocturnal creatures are transparent at night, making them perfect ambushers. Like other predators, Purpumas are feared for their agility. A typical Purpuma's entire body is black, and as it grows stronger, it gains a fierce violet aura. They live a solitary life in the deep forest and mainly hunt herbivores.
