Back before the Resistance existed, the only way to escape from the tyranny of a lord was to wander aimlessly or become a bandit. Without any formal military training or armaments, the serfs taught themselves to fight by randomly swinging with anything they could find. Even today, the brawlers of the Sandflame Bandits value their legacy of improvisation, thinking nothing of using torches, chair legs, or anything else they can find as a club.
