The Sand Turtles inhabiting the Moonlight Desert are also called Backpack Turtles because of the shape of the shell on their back. They move slowly but are highly intelligent: they can hide by mimicking a rock in the sand, only to jump up and attack when prey draws near. They also have a powerful bite, making them a threat to any who cross the desert.

These violent-tempered birds tend to leave their eggs exposed to external elements, just like other Terror Birds.
