Ursa are said to have originated from the White Forest in the north of Trutizan. Various patterns of light are engraved on their bodies depending on their size and strength. When running, these patterns give off an aura of light that overwhelms surrounding animals. The most formidable sub-types of this species have horns or manes and live in the deepest parts of the forest. For sustinence, they are known to hunt fish and mountain animals.

Since their eyes have completely degenerated, they rely on their sense of touch and keen hearing to hunt their prey. Since this makes precision attacks difficult, they instead charge in the general direction of their prey and cause explosions in hopes of damaging their targets.
