There you can also search and filter for weapon types and more! The Sword & Shield is a defensive Weapon Type in Throne & Liberty. It is excellent at stunning enemies and taunting them to attack you, and it has a lot of defensive options like Counter Barrier and Stalwart Bastion, making it the weapon of choice for PvE tanks, usually in combination with either the Greatsword or the Wand & Tome. While its most obvious application is for PvE tanks, the Sword & Shield also works well for PvP, thanks to its high survivability and Crowd Control options. It does have less damage output than most other Weapon Types, so you should combo it with a damage-focused Weapon Type if you are using it in PvP. Throne & Liberty Sword & Shield builds
