In this guide, we will explain the basics of using the Crossbow, useful skills and synergies, and the strengths and weaknesses of this weapon type. For more guides about a variety of topics in TL, please check our Throne & Liberty Guides Database. Longbow Overview The Longbow is a ranged DPS weapon that primarily specialises in strong single-target attacks. While the most obvious application of the Longbow is as a ranged DPS weapon, it also makes for a good secondary weapon for healers, as it comes with skills that can heal allies and cure negative effects. The Longbow is arguably the most versatile and widely useful weapon in the game, able to dish out plenty of damage, heal and support allies and debuff enemies, causing them to take more damage from your party. Longbow Key Skills Some of the most important Longbow skills and passives are listed below: Strafing - Move in the designated direction and fire four arrows. The skill can be used again for half of the Mana cost. Applies the Target status effect to the enemy, empowering your other Longbow skills. Nature's Blessing - Heals allies within the radius and increases their Mana Regeneration. Cleanses one Weaken effect. Deadly Marker - Mark the target, increasing the Critical Chance of you and your party when attacking the target. Landing a Critical Hit against the marked target, the Cooldowns of you and your allies are reduced by 1%. Purifying Touch - Remove one CC effect from the target. This is a great skill that allows you to cheese some boss fights by snapping an ally out of a stun. Sniper's Sense (Passive) - Increases your Critical Chance and Critical Damage by 1% for every 1m distance to the target. Steady Aim (Passive) - Increased Critical Chance against Bound and Oppressed targets. This is only a selection of the Longbow's skills and passives. You can find the full list, with more detailed stats, on our Longbow Overview Page. Best Weapon Combos for the Longbow Throne & Liberty allows you to equip two weapons at the same time, switching between them freely and slotting Skills and Passives from both weapons. The weapon types that work best with Longbow are: Crossbow - The passives of the Crossbow and Longbow complement each other very well. Both weapons have a passive that increases your damage output based on your distance to the target. The Longbow's Roxie's Arrowhead passive also activates from Crossbow bolts. Using these weapons together is a powerful DPS option in Throne & Liberty. Daggers - Using the Daggers with the Longbow not only gives you a melee option, it also grants more mobility, the ability to stealth, and increases your Critical Chance and Critical Damage, as long as you have the correct Dagger passives slotted. This weapon combo is viable for both PvE and PvP. Wand & Tome - The Longbow works great as a secondary weapon on a healer/support build due to skills like Nature's Blessing and Purifying touch. The Longbow gives you more options to heal and cure effects from your allies, making it a good pairing with the Wand & Tome, which is also very support-focused.
