An extremely vicious wolf species that is native to the Blackhowl Plains. Covered from head to toe in white fur, these predators are very agile. When they spot their prey, they then leap high into the air and clamp their jaws around their targets' necks. While these creatures live in a pack, they prefer to hunt alone. However, when it comes to pack defense, they will not hesitate to work together as a team.

According to ancient literature, these creatures shot electric currents through their horns during rainy weather and flew through the sky at light speed, roaring all the while. The Sand Turtles inhabiting the Moonlight Desert are also called Backpack Turtles because of the shape of the shell on their back. They move slowly but are highly intelligent: they can hide by mimicking a rock in the sand, only to jump up and attack when prey draws near. They also have a powerful bite, making them a threat to any who cross the desert.
