Wand & Tome Weapon Type Class Guide - Throne & Liberty Andrew 1 month ago Beginner Combat Healer Wand & Tome Weapon Types Share on Reddit Share on Twitter Share on Facebook Welcome to our guide for the Wand & Tome weapon type in Throne & Liberty. In this guide, we will explain the basics of using the Wand & Tome, useful skills and synergies, and the strengths and weaknesses of this weapon type. For more guides about a variety of topics in TL, please check our Throne & Liberty Guides Database. Wand & Tome Overview The Wand & Tome is the most support-oriented game in the game, centred around healing and protecting allies, and debuffing enemies. While you can deal some DPS with the Wand & Tome, it does not make for a good DPS weapon and is a much better fit for healers and tanks. The Wand & Tome can place Curses on enemies that apply various debuffs or damage over time. The Curses can be consumed early to deal a burst of damage to the enemy. If you want to create a Healer in Throne & Liberty, we strongly recommend starting with a Wand & Tome, as this will give you access to most of the healing and support skills in the game. Wand & Tome Key Skills Some of the Wand & Tome's most vital skills and passives are listed below: Swift Healing - A powerful and rapid heal. It can be used twice consecutively, but the Mana cost will increase with consecutive uses. Clay's Salvation - Heals all allies within the radius. Time for Punishment - Has a 90% chance to apply a Curse that reduces Skill Damage Resistance. Blessed Barrier - An important defensive skill that increases the Defence of all allies in the area. It also heals them during the day or increases their Endurance at night. Noble Revival (Passive) - Increases your Skill Heals by 3% per 1,000 Max Mana. Vampiric Contract (Passive) Damaging an enemy Cursed by you restores a portion of the damage as HP to an ally. If no allies are in range, your HP is restored instead. This is only a selection of the Wand & Tome's skills and passives. You can find the full list, with more detailed stats, on our Wand & Tome Overview Page. Best Weapon Combos for the Wand & Tome Throne & Liberty allows you to equip two weapons simultaneously, switching between them freely and slotting Skills and Passives from both weapons. The weapon types that work best with Wand & Tome are: Longbow - While it is primarily a DPS weapon, the Longbow also comes with a selection of support and healing skills. To access the broadest possible range of options to help your team, pair the Wand & Tome with the Longbow. Sword & Shield - This combo effectively creates an archetypal Paladin tank. It's a handy setup that allows you to do all aspects of support simultaneously: taunting enemies, crowd control, protecting allies, debuffing enemies, removing debuffs from allies, and buffing and healing your allies. This does leave you languishing halfway between a pure tank and a pure healer, but it can be a very satisfying setup, especially in PUGs (pick-up groups). Staff - If you want to go for a complete mage build, you can combine the Wand & Tome with the Staff to access all of the magical-themed skills in the game. This setup will make you very strong with AoE damage, which is where the Staff excels, but leaves you lacking in single-target DPS. This is not a meta setup, but you can still have plenty of fun with it. About the Author: Andrew Andrew is an avid long-time gamer and writer with a lot of experience in the gaming industry.
