Page 1/4 A Healer's Record of a Patient Rescued from the Manawastes Supervisor: Luceton Name of patient: Callive. Age: 34. Sex: Male. Occupation: Peddler. Date: 2/8 My predecessor was unable to learn the patient's age and name from the patient himself. He was ultimately forced to acquire this information from the caravan the patient had belonged to. We spoke face-to-face today, but the patient was abnormal. Appears to be in a difficult situation. 2/11 Three days after the transfer. Patient refuses food; attempted to persuade him. Repeatedly says, "No," "Get lost," and "Save me!" Same as my predecessor's record. Administered a calming medication from Venelux. Had some effect. Patient ate once calmed. Page 2/4 2/12 The patient looks out the window and behaves as if some sanity has returned to him. He is curious about where he is and why he's here. Appears both confused and relieved upon hearing the explanation. Attempted to open the window to show him the outside, but he rapidly became anxious so I discontinued the attempt. 2/13 The patient remains rational and I attempted further conversation. Asked if he can explain his status, and he opened up as best he could. Gave his name, age, and family circumstances. Appeared confused about the state of his merchant group and caravan. Ended questioning for today to preserve his stability. 2/14 The patient appears to be in good condition, so I continued yesterday's Q&A. Conversation was normal at first. The patient's condition rapidly worsened when I pressed him further about his merchant colleagues from a list received from the caravan. He suddenly started to scream. Repeatedly shouted, "The eyeballs," "No," and "Don't look!" Page 3/4 2/18 No improvement in the patient for four consecutive days. Administered calming medication again due to his refusal to eat. Continues to scream whenever he sees anything round in his room. Removed all circular objects. Complains of extreme fear of eyeballs. 2/25 Recommenced interviews after one week. Asked the patient's name, age, and merchant group to verify recovery of his mental faculties. The patient's condition remains good, and so I asked about his merchant gr (The paper is damaged afterwards) Page 4/4 Postscript Postscript added after discovering my predecessor Luceton's notes. Luceton was attacked during a routine patient interview and his writing implement was seized. His left eye was then removed with it in a violent fashion. At the time of the attack, the patient kept shouting "Eyeball." The patient was immediately imprisoned. Luceton was transferred to Stonegard Castle after receiving first aid from an Einar priestess. The case will be further handled after consultation with the merchant group's client.
