The first time I saw Sienna Parsons was shortly after I became a Stonegard officer. She was introducing a new kind of quarrying golem at the Resistance Training Ground. Her reputation preceded her, but I was pretty skeptical. In my experience, heroic stories are often exaggerated at best and outright lies at worst. That being said, the golem she made seemed pretty solid, so I was ready to concede she was at least a decent magical engineer. Sienna was polite to us and had a very cheerful personality, but nice smiles and personalities didn't really do much for me. See, back then, life in Stonegard was a tough due to the tyranny of Fernan, the lord of the castle. We were doing what we could to depose Fernan by any means, but the guy locked himself in the castle and just bunkered down. There was nothing the Resistance could do except occasionally attack Fernan's supply transports outside the castle. Everyone was tired of the siege and how it was going nowhere. So anyway, we were complaining about this stalemate around Sienna. She was quiet the whole time and then suddenly opened her mouth. She said she would enter the castle herself and drag Fernan out.

After making the declaration, there was no hesitation in Sienna's movements. She grabbed two of her colleagues and went directly to the castle and Fernan. She introduced herself to Fernan as a professor of the Golem Lab from across the sea. Then, she showed him the mysterious golem she had created. She promised that if he supported her research, she would build a golem ten times bigger than that one to wipe out the annoying Resistance. Fernan fell for Sienna's golem and her confident attitude, so he actually got on board. Sienna immediately got to work quarrying rocks to make the giant golems she had promised. Fernan got excited, pouring a huge amount of money into the project. But the quarrying process never seemed to end. Another thing is Stonegard's quarry has always been crawling with basilisks. So Fernan had to not only put up a lot of money for quarrying, but for soldiers to protect the work site. When the quarrying finally ended, Fernan's army was in pretty rough shape from constant basilisk extermination. In the meantime, Sienna kept draining Fernan's remaining wealth to prepare for a special trip. She called it an exploration expense to find the 'Heart of the Ancient Golem', a key part of her plan for this giant golem. To her credit, Sienna and her party actually searched the entire Stonegard area with a huge amount of money, and eventually obtained the heart.

Growing restless, Fernan ordered her to activate the giant golem immediately. However, Sienna said that there was the last step left. Fernan had to become the golem's owner. She told Fernan to get in a large wooden box and made him dance and chant a spell of resurrection for an entire day. Fernan got the box and did a ridiculous dance and chanted a silly spell just as Sienna had told him to. In the meantime, Sienna sent the giant golem, which was always under her control, to shatter the Stonegard Gate. The waiting Resistance army literally just strolled through the broken gate and took over Stonegard Castle. Fernan's reign ended just like that. The Resistance welcomed her as a hero. Sienna's performance has become a delightful legend of the Resistance. Even earned her a nice nickname, the Sun of Stonegard. Any doubts I had about her erased immediately. I'm not too proud to admit I was probably cheering for her the loudest that day. Afterwards, many people, including myself, began to call themselves Sunflowers in admiration for her. This is the origin of our Sunflower Group. So, hearing all this, how do you feel about becoming a Sunflower? Just let me know if you're interested. New Sunflowers are always welcome.
